Social media was buzzing on the night of August 11th when several people managed to snap photographs of what appeared to be an oval-shaped craft in the sky over Houston during stormy weather.
Some of the images showed the object, which seemed to have a single point of light in its center, situated in the foreground with dark storm clouds looming menacingly behind it. The disc was pictured from several angles by different witnesses and seemed to change position in the air multiple times.
"The more people who see it in different directions, the more likely we are to figure out where it is, what it is and see if we can explain it," said Dr. Carolyn Sumners of the Houston Museum of Natural Science. "All the way back to recorded history, there are going to be things we can't explain. That's what makes it exciting."

Nut-job Conspiracy Theory Ping!
To get onto The Nut-job Conspiracy Theory Ping List you must threaten to report me to the Mods if I don't add you to the list...
So you must think Gordon Cooper was a pathological liar. Okay. Maybe he was the victim of demonic spirits!
ALL UFO's have a 'blur feature' built into the spaceship hull at the factory.
There is a great deal of evidence for visitors from other worlds and realms, in Christ kingdom, many servants working..the hopis kachina legends tell of galactic guardians..to me physical space vehicles are still bound to the physical universes, not the higher realities of supernatural being of Christ..we have choices to make..choose your reality, seek your souls fulfillment, physical, spiritual, we will all walk through the doors we perceive..keep your focus on Christ bleeding feet...infinity is infinite, be it so according to your faith
FRiend, the Lord works His wonders in ways we cannot even begin to fathom. Existence of both extra-terrestrial intelligence AND demonic spirits are more likely the reality. God is capable AND LIKELY to have created both, and I would be going against God in too many ways if I simply wrote off as liars the many people, some of whom I am very closely connected with and who have proven themselves entirely honorable and honest over the decades, who have related IN DETAIL sightings of UFOs that are clearly NOT "natural phemomena" or group hallucinations.
I have never seen one and never want to see one. However, I cannot be so cavalier or so mistrusting as to simply assume so many people are either idiots or liars. I suspect the idiots and liars are at best evenly distributed on both sides of the UFO dispute.
Ping to my post 30. You might have been reading my mind!
We are one, God read our minds...smile...see ya at home..blessings in Christ..
Those of us who've been around RC aviation knew that there was ZERO physical possibility that a balooon that size could lift and carry a 65-pound kid. So we weren't surprised when we found out that the kid wasn't on it after all because IT WAS OBVIOUS HE WASN'T.
The media and the police departments that made such maroons out of themselves chasing an obvious hoax, are the real folks to blame for that fiasco.
And there are more than likely MANY MANY truth-tellers, especially when one either knows already or investigates the moral character of those doing the telling.
Earthlings! Pay no attention to this! This may appear to be a Xanthian Scout Craft, but it is really one of your avian creatures (I believe you call them “turkeys”) flying around. Return to your normal duties.
So you must think that either he was lying, or an idiot who didn't understand what he was seeing, or that he was taken over by demonic spirits, because the other possibility, that these extra-terrestrial craft and creatures exist, you have taken off the table.
I would LOVE to take it off the table in my own mind, because I would MUCH prefer to believe that we'll never be threatened by them. However, ignorance is bliss, and I've read too much and heard anecdotes personally from too many folks I know well and trust, to indulge in the luxury of not "believing." What I want to believe and what IS, are two different things in this case. I would rather believe the way you do, but I cannot.
