That was another hoax perpetrated by an extraordinarily gullible media and bought by an ignorant public.

Those of us who've been around RC aviation knew that there was ZERO physical possibility that a balooon that size could lift and carry a 65-pound kid. So we weren't surprised when we found out that the kid wasn't on it after all because IT WAS OBVIOUS HE WASN'T.

The media and the police departments that made such maroons out of themselves chasing an obvious hoax, are the real folks to blame for that fiasco.
