Got any pictures of the changes the moon has gone through?
Second star to the right and straight on till morning!
Over what period of time?
:’) I have that book, but I’ve never read it.
Over what period of time?
Since the pole shift over a year ago.
Kudos ... great job!
Thanks!
Nice pic. Are those the moons of Jupiter almost touching the planet on the right?
Yes they are.
The face of the man in the moon rotated 135 degrees counter clockwise. The sun came up two days earlier up north neither of which are normal. The source said the moon face rotated 8 degrees showing part of the back side of the moon not normally seen. Your source did not seem to explain this.
My video explains the “face of the man in the moon” rotating. We actually also see about 59% of the surface of the moon due to libration, but the biggest complaint seems to be the rotation of the moon’s features as you say “135 degrees.” Actually it can appear to rotate up to 180 degrees each day due to field rotation (90 degrees from vertical one way and then 90 degrees from vertical the other), as my spreadsheet shows. As for the sun “coming up two days” early that is a separate issue and is due to an abnormal amount of atmospheric refraction known as Novaya Zemlya and has historically been seen to cause the sun to appear to rise early by as much as two weeks.
“In the next place, Gerrit de Veer states explicitly that he and two of his companions “saw the edge of the sun” on the 24th of January, and that on the 27th of that month they “all went forth and saw the sunne in his full round-nesse a little above the horizon”; and again, that on 31st they “went out and saw the sunne shine cleare”; and lastly, on the 8th of February, they “saw the sun rise south-east, and went down south south-west.” On the intervening days, the weather being cloudy or otherwise unfavorable, they had no opportunity of observing the sun.”

At de Veer’s location, 75 degrees 45 minutes north latitude, the sun’s upper edge wasn’t even supposed to be seen until February 9th.
You must compensate for atmospheric refraction when measuring the sun’s true position, and when you do that you find it’s exactly where it should be.

I still cant follow how Tycho can rotate form the south pole to the north pole every day. I always saw the man in the moon right side up and never remember seeing it upside down.
It’s called field rotation. It’s always “rotated” due to field rotation.

I guess we are talking about different things. I could not find “field rotation” with my search engine. I can find video of moons polar shift and the moon being upside down though on you tube. When was the last time you looked at the moon? It looks all wrong to a lot of people.
