So there was a thread discussing an Ann Coulter article. It just disappeared.

I would humbly suggest that FR should have some way of communicating to people why they decided to do this.

Maybe an on going tread explaining these actions.

lol wont be surprised if that was the case. It was a fun thread. 100 comments or so. But it was taken down. It would be nice if the Mods explain more on what’s not acceptable here on FR. I put my thread in chat but still not acceptable.

LOL - try asking this on the religion threads. Certain mods seem to love their little power trip of deleting posts — all anonymous and (**ahem**) objective, of course. Reflects very poorly on the site, IMHO.

I too think we're entitled to a more detailed explanation than "no thanks" or other one or two word non reasons. It would indeed be a little more helpful in preventing us from posting unwanted threads if we are told more specifically what was wrong with the thread. I'm still waiting on an explanation as to why they deleted my bigfoot thread (properly posted in the general chat section) many months ago.
