Did anyone see the ad for this film?God,how pathetic!"It's Deliciously Funny",according to some far left critics."Can't Wait To Taste The Movie"!Well,more or less,something like that.The movie promo is making it sound like it's going to be the next Forrest Gump or Titanic.We can only hope that "The Hundred Foot Journey" debuts at number 10.America gave up on Oprah way back in 2007/08 when she had declared that Obama was our modern day Jesus and was going to bring World Peace!&Will Keep Putin In Check!

I don’t watch commercials so I haven’t seen it.
But there’s not a chance in the world I’d watch 5 minutes of an Oprah movie. I don’t support racists of any color.

It looks like the story Hollywood loves to tell - foreigners find the way with the help of a patronizing white person. Maybe I’m wrong.

Don’t know if I’ll see it but what ***I WILL GUARANTEE** is that 10 days before the big opening Oprah will go into a very high-end luxury goods boutique and will suffer some unspeakable racial insult.
Could be in Paris, Geneva, Tokyo —SOME exotic capital SOMEWHERE.
And every station will scream and scream about it, and the “incident” will kick up huge interest in the film.

I believe the refrigerators in her house are 100 feet apart. So when she empties out one of them, it’s a “hundred foot journey” to get to the other one.

The movie is about snooty French people who are unspeakable stuffy and xenophobic in a town that becomes home to some humble brown people from abroad, overflowing with quaint, old-world decency who then suffer terrible slights and exclusion from the frogs.
Who would have expected THAT from Oprah, huh…?

Maybe she should make a movie about some poor island people who for DECADES request a shortcut road to make life easier, only to be refused by enviers, but then an unbelievably rich tycoon moves in, buys half the island, builds the road with bureaucratic ease, and completely MONOPOLIZES it’s use..?
