While speaking out on the House floor yesterday against the House GOP lawsuit against President Obama, Texas Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee said the move is a “veil for impeachment.”

Jackson Lee also took the opportunity to point out that “We [Democrats] did not seek an impeachment of President Bush” when he was in office. Really?

Not only did some Democrats seek an impeachment of President Bush, but Rep. Jackson Lee co-sponsored the bill? Classic!

Unfortunately SJL is a pretty representative example of her constituents, many of whom subsist on government subsidies of one kind or another. My only client who regularly votes Democrat, however, is an affluent Caucasian, has a doctorate in Psychology and thinks SJL and Gene Greene, a State Rep in that area, do a fabulous job. I’m not sure what Michael Berry would do for a lot of his laugh lines if CONGRESSWOMAN SJL were ever voted out of office.

Between SJL and the gay Mayor Denise Porker, most of the interior of Houston is in the weeds.
