Mexican authorities searching an abandoned house were left stunned when they discovered a Bengal tiger locked in a cage.
Police officers, who found the endangered animal after a tip-off from a member of the public, say it is a complete mystery how the tiger got there.

That was a great episode of Archer. Love that gal who sang Charlene’s songs.
As for the tiger, poor baby. How could someone do that? I hope she has a wonderful happy life now.
Was he destined for Texas and amnesty?
“Did you remember to drop the tiger off at the kennel?”
“No, I thought you were going to do it.”
“Crap. I don’t want to turn around now. We’re almost there.”
“Call Humberto next door, see if he’ll feed it while we’re on vacation.”
Once, when my job once brought me to the zoo just before dawn, I heard lions mating. Those guys are serious about reproducing, I’ll tell you what.
Maybe a condo? Everybody loves equity.
The movie “The Counselor” with Javiaer Bardam.
Pet peeve of mine: not "complete," unless you assume the possibility that the tiger got there on his own.
Disposal system for snitches?
You are the second FReeper to tell me a "lion" story.
The lions are MAGNIFICENT creatures and I enjoy them a lot on T.V.
My mother, husband and I (while my husband and I were in Saudi Arabia) took a trip to Kenya. We went to NINE of their marvelous game parks.
ONE TRUE STORY, I couldn't make this one up.
We drove up to a pride of lions....mostly females. They were ALL sacked out and ignored us...except for one female. She looked mostly asleep but every few seconds one eye would open, look at us, then close again. She had her EYE on us. She COULD HAVE been up and at us in a FLASH.
Our guide knew these lions and knew JUST how close or far we could be and still keep Mama-Lion quiescent.
WHEW!! I still get sweaty palms when I picture her. She was about 20 feet away ....WAY,WAY,WAY,WAY,WAY,WAY, too close for this city slicker. Wow. There was NOTHING between her and us but a rickety open tourist car. Whew!
YOU still remember the lion from when you were FIVE years old. They DO make an impression, don't they? WHEW!!!
Oh yes.
One summer I worked on a farm, and close to this farm was one of those roadside zoos. Occasionally you would hear them roaring in the evening and early morning, but it was very faint. When a cow died they would put winch it up on the back of a flatbed and haul it down to the zoo and drive right into the lion enclosure, the lions would just jump up on the back and drag it off, pretty cool.
Freegards
Heard he can get meat in USA, have his teeth checked and have an Americano clean up his poo poo everyday.
And provide him a breeding partner through Planned parenthood.
Some of the funniest lines I've ever seen on FR!!!
"How could she not ?"
They’d probably let him register to vote too.
They say that domesticated cats, the small ones that live with us, were created so mankind could know what it is like to pet a tiger.,
Archer is one lucky dude. I can’t wait for Season Six.
Well, of course he kept a begal tiger. One never knows when you’ll be attacked by someone weilding fresh fruitl!
I hope you’ve seen the movie “Secondhand Lions”. If not, rent it, or buy it on DVD. It’s a wonderful story, suitable for families, and has a memorable lion in it.
