A Central California company has issued a voluntary nationwide recall of specific lots of its fresh peaches, plums, nectarines and pluots over concerns of possible listeria contamination.
Wawona Packing says on its website that no illnesses have been reported and the recall is a precautionary measure.

Now all they need to do is recall all the nuts and flakes.

Damn! Just when you think you know everything they spring the pluot on you.
Concerns fruit sold between June 1 and July 12 — I imagine most of those fruits are in the waste bin by now.

Pluots are delicious. Similar to a plum but better.
Some are more yellow than the pic. I’ve been waiting for my grocery to get them in.
