Most TV series "jump the shark" or get bad long before they end. But there's always a few that you wish that went on at least another season. Which TV series or program(s) do you wish hadn't ended when it did but continued on at least another year?
In no particular order:
The Muppet Show, The Mouse Factory, The Wonderful World of Disney, Taxi, WKRP, Cheers, Red Dwarf, Are You Being Served, Sledge Hammer, Darkwing Duck, Farscape, Stargate SG-1, Firefly, Stargate Universe, Caprica, The Closer, Leverage, The Glades, Psych, Chuck, Dexter, The Dead Zone, Burn Notice, and Terminator -The Sarah Conner Chronicles.
Still ongoing; Bones, Castle, Homeland, Justified, Longmire, NCIS, Suits, and The Mentalist.
Just to name a few...
The IT Crowd is hilarious in a computer geeky kind of humorous way. Some episodes I literally have tears in my eyes from laughing so hard. I rewatch episodes frequently.
FYI. Justified last season coming up early 2015

Emergency!
You are sick and twisted. When I was six I wanted to be a paramedic because of that show. About 5 years ago I saw a rerun of that show and was like OMG.......that show sucks out loud!
I felt the same way at the same age. Emergency is not as dramatic as similar shows today, but honestly, I could do without the everyone is having a fling with everyone else’s wife or the hot new paramedic story lines, or the inevitable homosexual characters.
My son, who has an IT startup and is trying to get venture capital, told me to watch Silicon Valley on HBO. He said it’s impossible to succinctly explain what going through this is like but that show does a fairly good job of it.
I don’t have HBO so suppose I need to find it elsewhere. But I guess the jist of it is that the IT startup thing is incredibly hard but fun, wild and crazy.
I will definitely look up IT Crowd - thanks for the tip!
