I'm awaiting a flight in Phoenix to Baltimore. 11 teenage Hispanic boys and four non-Hispanic adults just sat down all in a row in the terminal. The boys have not said a word and oddly, none of them have shoelaces.
This is weird and I'm not sure what to make of it or what to do. Being in a TSA zone, I sure don't want to start a protest.
I was walking right ahead of them and spoke briefly with the reporter.
Thanks to whoever alerted the media.
I called southwest. The rep sounded visibly upset that the health of the plane was in question, said he wrote down everything I said and would get it in front of the proper people.
Good for you!!! This fellow citizen (who has to show ID numerous times, take of belt, shoes, jewelry, etc. in order to board, have my belongings inspected, etc.) appreciates you taking the time to make that phone call. I just can’t believe this is happening.
