The pro-life activist who was attacked by a pro-abortion feminist in Columbus, Ohio this week has a priceless reaction to what happened. He forgives her. That is despite the fact that abortion activist Victoria Duran is defending her actions and has no intention of apologizing.
createdequal5Pro-life activist Seth Drayer was physically attacked (video below) while leading a group of pro-life students in sharing the pro-life message in downtown. The video shows a woman in a Burger King shirt attacking the pro-lifers.
She says, Youre just a white f privileged racist f male who doesnt stand for womens rights. The abortion advocate adds, No uterus, no right to talk about it. Understand, Mother f?
The abortion backer has been identified as Victoria Duran and she is seen on video yelling at the protestors and kicking down their signs. She told a local news station yesterday she doesnt regret what she did.
But, in a new interview with Fox News, Drayer forgives her anyway.

“If I ran into Janet Reno or a Clinton (or Lindsay Graham) and I had 20-something hormones and certainty....”
What the truth? You’d be shocked at what pathetic, small, cowardly people they really are. At the same time you’d want to hurry home and take a hot shower with Fels-Naptha.
Or it could be in the context of allowing someone who asks for a second chance that chance, rather than invoking the “fool me once” mantra.
If we had eyes to see into the realm of angels and demons we would probably see a little bitty soul and a huge cloud of darkness following it.
Oh I know what they say. “Keep your Rosaries off my Ovaries” and other things pertaining to keeping out of their uterus. Lets be honest were are all adults here, well some of us anyway. It’s all about the vagina. That is why they wear that costume. It’s all about the sex act. Sex act with anyone, anywhere free of pregnancy worries. Oh yea the left got to this girl just like all the others. They have made her think it’s all about her uterus and/or ovaries but it’s about her vagina.
People do not have the authority to forgive sins against God.
Any words or deeds that break God’s laws, like murder, rape, theft, etc., - those are sins against God.
The Bible nowhere states that a person, you or I, can absolve anyone of the guilt of their sin.
The Bible does say that we are not to seek vengeance when someone wrongs us. So, for example, if someone steals our lunch, then eats it, we are not to seek revenge on them.
In terms of our “forgiving” them, let’s look at two hypothetical cases:
1) they come to us and admit they stole our lunch and ate it, they say they are truly sorry, they will give us restitution, and they say they will not steal again.
2) they giggle and deny they did it.
In the second case, they are an unrepentant sinner, and if we say we “forgive” them, they are a person who has broken the 8th commandment, so they have an issue between themselves and God, and it is not within our power to control what God does with them. While they also wronged us, we Biblically should seek restitution (not vengeance), but, if it’s not forthcoming, to be able to move on and not have it drive us “nuts”. This is easy with lunch money, but with more serious crimes it can be difficult. This is what is meant by the “crying out for God’s justice” in nations where the civil government does a very poor job of prosecuting criminals.
In the first case, they are a repentant sinner, and our forgiveness of them insofar as they wronged us would be called for, Biblically, since we are also a sinner. But we should also be seeking restitution, Biblically, from them. Of course, we should also confirm, just in case they “forgot” or are unaware (lest they neglect this), that they need to pray to God and seek forgiveness in Jesus’ name, and they need to seek after the Lord.
How many children over the years had a parent march them back to a person or business that they stole some little thing from, have them return the item and apologize - many thousands.
Not so much any more.
In context, turning the other cheek means offering the other as well. And, “If someone takes your coat, do not withhold your shirt from them”. But that’s not the same as allowing sin to happen. If these little acts of self-sacrifice are lost like pearls cast before swine then again, what good are they?
Well in fact they want to be sex-attraction dominatrices. That’s what the infamous “Vagina Monologues” was about.
The trouble is, so many of them make themselves over into such ugly harridans that a pound of Viagra couldn’t make up for the unattractiveness — defeating their own avowed purpose.
Even that could only be a model, an illustration, of the true attitude towards God.
Someone who wronged me years ago is not beholden to me. To force me to make them beholden to me is not of God. It is of Satan.
And allowing God to close the forgiveness loop on His own has side benefits. God has already promised that whatever we give for His sake... property, whatever... will be rewarded in multiple. So someone stole $1000 from me and went to parts unknown. I give that to the Lord. I don’t go hunting for that person to hound him. Then suddenly I find $1000 in my budget that I never dreamed could be there. God paid it back.
No, it was stolen from you.
The thief has broken a commandment, which is between them and God.
I had a few hundred stolen from me by a very vile man one time years ago.
It’s done, from my perspective, no way I’ll ever see the guy again.
It happened before I was saved, so it bothered me a lot for a while. Then I just forgot about it. Who dwells on such things ?
If he was converted to Christ and theoretically found me, I could understand such a person wanting to pay back what they stole. But it’s of course the soul that really matters, not the money stolen from me. I’m not waiting for this payment ! Then, after my conversion I recalled the event and saw it in a new light, where I was preserved through a situation by the Lord even before I converted.
Take the case of someone owing you money, a friend. If they’re “down and out”, you don’t bother them about it.
But in all such cases, these people ultimately have to reckon with God.
These are easy cases. What about if a person perpetrated some violence on someone you love - and they go unpunished by the law ? That’s difficult to just “forget”, to not seek vengeance. That takes some serious amount of faith, IMHO.
What are you asserting “no” against?
Of course it was stolen.
But I can still give it to God.
I can’t give somebody else’s life to God, so your counterexample fails.
I think it is very telling about the pinched state of YOUR soul that you want to be prickly and conditional about it.
I pray daily for His will to be done.
I've heard it called "sadoevangelism."
Suggestion: if there was a timeline on the video it would make the point how early the baby becomes recognizably human (not to say it’s not so earlier, but just when it takes the form low-info people could recognize)
Go back and read what is said in the Bible on the subject. “If he repents” is in there. As to how you spend the rest of your lie that’s up to you.
This woman obviously hasn’t repented. Therefore forgiveness shouldn’t be granted at all. It’s not Biblical.
I can forget, but if someone wants to restore his relationship with me, he must say he’s sorry and ask for forgiveness.
When I’m wrong, that’s what I do.
I posted my response above before reading all the posts. Many are better than mine.
And a few aren’t.
