"Such a flip is not instantaneous, but would take many hundred if not a few thousand years," Floberghagen told Live Science. "They have happened many times in the past."Oh?

All these SUVs are made of metal, metal is magnetic, it is affecting earth’s magnet field...
SUVs are killing us all....

From a biblical perspective, yes, the magnetic field reversed multiple times, during the time of the Flood and the aftermath.

I don’t know how or why but this flip is connected to global warming somehow.

During past polarity flips there were no mass extinctions or evidence of radiation damage.

Is that why the true north/magnetic north split keeps getting worse? I remember the difference drove me crazy when I was taking LandNav courses for ground team certification for Civil Air Patrol.

Exactly. Pole flip. The full flip takes a LONG time in relation to our lifespans but not in geologic time.
To: BenLurkin
During past polarity flips there were no mass extinctions or evidence of radiation damage. Researchers think power grids and communication systems would be most at risk. LOL. What an absurd statement. Flipping the magnetic poles would result in mass death and radiation poisoning, but the communcation grid woudl be "most at risk." Hello! I don't think I'm going to be worried about using my cell phone if I'm dying of radiation poisoning and my family is dead.

All right. I admit it. It was my fault......I invented this huge machine like Cheney’s weather machine only it affects the earth’s magnetism and was playing around with it last night. .....You can lock me up.
