During past polarity flips there were no mass extinctions or evidence of radiation damage. Researchers think power grids and communication systems would be most at risk. LOL. What an absurd statement. Flipping the magnetic poles would result in mass death and radiation poisoning, but the communcation grid woudl be "most at risk." Hello! I don't think I'm going to be worried about using my cell phone if I'm dying of radiation poisoning and my family is dead.
