Oddly it kills so many, so fast, it supposedly limits the spread.

“Oddly it kills so many, so fast, it supposedly limits the spread.”

That’s the only “hopeful” thing about it. Truly scary.

Now back to the important issue of the day — transgender rights!!!!!

The typical version is so hot that infected parties become symptomatic overnight and are incapable of traveling. The current version has an extended incubation that includes ability to shed virus before exhibiting symptoms. It spreads more efficiently before killing the host. The blessing of a fast burnout has been lost.

Works good in small isolated communities. In a modern country with rapid transportation it may spread faster then it kills. Get an outbreak in a large US city and it could be in 10 different states before we even realize what’s happening.

As the virus is now, that's true. The danger is when it spreads to crowded places with sickly populations or bad environmental conditions.

The other thing that's odd is that a less virulant Ebola would be more dangerous to the global population. It would spread to more people before the host died.

I read that hypothesis in a book OUTBREAK (?) quite a few years back.
