A Texas talk show host stormed off set Tuesday after a heated discussion was ignited when she expressed disapproval of coverage showing Michael Sam kissing his boyfriend.
Can we just agree that this was an opportunity to make news? KTXD-TVs The Broadcast host Amy Kushnir asked.
He has every right to do what he wants, thats not my issue, she added. I just dont want it in my face.

Two men kissing is NOT an important issue.
You should have let Amy Kushnir keep on walking.
Disrespect on this scale should not be considered "advancing the dialogue".
Anita was ahead of her time, willing to speak out and — even back then, beginning of pc — to pay the ultimate priceS.
I was a kid, and sang (still do, on occasion!) the “Florida Sunshine Tree” OJ song with gusto, and *had no clue* about what she did “wrong”.
It is sad and WRONG that perversion is so (do I really want to say “in our faces”? No, I don’t believe I do...) easily seen by today’s children.
That is true. I have no reason to doubt the statement at this point, but time will tell.
I just got dumber watching those 4.
Looks like Sam is almost guaranteed to start. What will an offensive lineman on the opposing team do in that case? His job is to make the assignment and stop the D from doing its job. If he can make the other player look bad by knocking him into next week then that's bonus. How can he give Sam the same treatment as any other defense lineman would get in normal play? If the offensive player knocks Sam out the backlash from the homoroid community could end that player's career.
Excuse me...but I would like clarification. Who are saying disrespected who?
Totally agree!!
It is an important issue only in that it is a result of and contributes to the moral decline of this country.
Otherwise it is just another person getting a lot of attention for an abnormal act.
Good for her. People should be tolerant of the disordered when possible, but there is no reason to pretend the abnormal is anything other than what it is.
Not a professional sports fan, and I don’t watch ESPN, but, based on what I have been reading, I suspect that there are quite a few homosexuals in the management.
Thanks for the chance to clarify Osage.
I thought the elder lady was the one against the kiss, and the blonde was the one who was for the kiss.
Seeing a short clip yesterday on Fox, I though the blonde was the one who walked off, but I thought she walked off because of what the elder lady said.
In reviewing the lip (I did not want to invest nine minutes watching the whole thing) I see now that AMy K. was against the kiss being in her face, and the elder lady was agreeing with her, but Amy walked off anyway.
I thought Amy could not stand the elder lady’s point of view and walked off. That was the impression I got from the snippet on Fox News last night.
Thanks for the chance to correct the record, and for doing it in a nice way.
I've made enough mistakes for a company or two...of men.
I heard on the news today that the Rams were not aware of the Oprah Winfrey deal when they drafted Sam — and according to that deal Oprah Winfrey’s cameras are to be given the right to follow Sam around on the football field, locker room, etc.
I guarantee that this is not sitting well with Jeff Fischer or the other players.
