A now-retired Super Bowl-winning NFL running back went on a Twitter tirade on Saturday after openly gay 2014 draft pick Michael Sam kissed his boyfriend on television.
Derrick Ward, 33, who was a member of the New York Giants Super Bowl XLII-winning team, didn't hide his disdain for ESPN's decision to air Sam's smooch with boyfriend Vito Cammisano after learning he would become a St. Louis Ram.
'Man U got little kids lookin at the draft,' Ward complained. 'I can't believe ESPN even allowed that to happen.'

Every account I read in the sports pages on Saturday said that Sam would not have cameras in his house because he did not expect to get drafted. Last minute pick and all of a sudden there are cameras there. Collusion between the commissioner and the Rams.
I’ll go further. I think the whole “coming out” thing was scripted. The NFL wanted a soap opera. I expect all sorts of drama surrounding this in the next few years.
Coming Soon to a stadium near you Chippendale Cheerleaders
Did they cover AJ McCarron throughout the draft? As in, did the cameras roll when he was finally drafted? I was not watching, so I do not know. I did see headlines about how he was still waiting to be drafted. I was wondering if they hung around him to see if he and his fiancé locked lips upon his name being called.
You know Brent Mussberger wouldn't have missed that.
Just wait? Hasn't that happened already? St Louis, the new SanFrancisco treat.....
The play will be called back because there’s a fag on the field. There’s a fag down at the 20 yard line.
What has ben seen, cannot be un-seen. After this weekend I have seen enough.
Good by NFL, it was fun while it lasted.
People in St Louis really don’t care that much for the Rams, it’s a baseball town.
This won’t help. In fact I think they did this with moving to LA in mind....And with Sam, they’ll already have a built-in fan base there.
Gag!
I haven’t watched ESPN for a long time. Unless forced to I won’t. I’m glad the leagues have their own networks. MLBNetwork is great for tuning into a whole bunch of games going on at once.
I’ve seen more A’s games this year than any other. Same with Giant games. Both are in first right now. Amazing, really. Especially the A’s, but everybody says that every year about the A’s.
Long ago ESPN became the MTV of sports journalism.
And now ESPN calls the shots on almost all sports in this country.
I'm surprised Sam isn't a center, probably tried but couldn't stay focused on the game.
Hussein Obama, America's first Muslim President, is doing everything he can to bring America's deviant problems to the front and the top. In that way, he and his Muslim terrorist buddies can destroy America socially as they are destroying America economically.
It's not necessary to fool Americans, it's only necessary to fool the presstitutes. Americans quit thinking for themselves years ago, they watch and think what they are told. By the time Americans figure out that the presstitutes are a joke and couldn't figure out the truth if it slapped them in the face, it will be too late. Hussein and his terrorists are using our system to destroy us. By the time Americans figure out they need to learn how to think without being told what the answers are, they will be enslaved by the system.
Solving the biggest mystery in history is easy IF you ignore the lies told by the gubermint
The Rams became the homosexual team.
it is
NFL: the musical.
That’s what I was thinking too. Also the guys in the locker room will not be thrilled walking around nude in front of him.
Went to an A’s game about two years ago. Even though it was a small crowd their fans are some of the most enthusiastic that I’ve run across.
"What did you think of those Dallas Cowboys' cheerleaders?"
"Hated It!"
