Car in Pool: Campbell Woman Drives Camry Into Swimming Pool

Investigators are saying it's fortunate no one was hurt when an elderly woman drove her car into a Campbell swimming pool over the weekend.
Capt. Charlie Adams added that it was likely scary for the Camry's driver. But, thankfully, neither she nor anyone else at the Casa de Rosa apartments on South Bascom sustained injury when she hit the gas instead of the brakes on Sunday, he said.
Witnesses said the woman drove straight into the pool and even left the engine running, but she managed to get out and run into her daughter's apartment.
Since no one was injured, Adams said police didn't even file a report.

Saw a better one a couple blocks from the house several years ago. A lady drove into someone’s front door. Didn’t fit too well. The plates read BEERRN.

The car gets totaled, plenty of property damage to the fence and pool....yep, who would need a police report for the insurance company? Lazy cops.
