Took off all covers off plants. They look fine, made it through the 30s temps if it got that cold.

sockmonkey, the only plant hurt was the Tycoon tomato in a large pot. It was small and appears it was broken off someway but didn't see the broken off part. I have three other Tycoons as backups that are as large or larger than that one, so will put one of these in that big pot. So, I still have Tycoons.

I really hope we are now over cold temps. It's 12:40 pm and the temp in garden is 66. Sun is out.

We have finally struggled into the 50s (barely). Sunshine has finally come out. Still not warm enough to bring the babies out. If the concrete warms up this afternoon, I’ll take them out for some real sun and warmth.

My kitchen is barely 70 degrees, so I like to get the stuff outside once it’s around 77 to speed up the germination.

The wind is bad here again today. I’m watching the kidz at their house, so gardening is out for today.

I had a low of 38, but officially, at the airport, it was 34. It was only the second time this cold season that it got down to forecasted temp here at the ranch. I haven’t been out to the gardens, but I don’t think we would have lost anything.

Got my scooter part yesterday. :) 8 days from hong kong to here. That’s better than they estimated.

Comparing the 2 parts, I can see the wear now. I wish I had bought 2 of them now that I know it’s life expectancy.

Will be soldering wires to it soon, I just rounded up all the stuff to attach the wiring to it. Good thing I am so organized. Lie!

Tomorrow is supposed to be 73, then 79 for a couple of days.

We have the other half of the Ms. Gang of kids and gkids coming out this weekend. That plus 2 dogs should make for plenty of excitement.

So sorry to hear of the loss. I broke a Tygress tomato last year that was about four feet tall. I scotch taped it back together, and it looked pretty pathetic, but the crazy thing grafted itself back together, and put out tomatoes until I pulled it up in December.

Our weather guys have been saying that our freeze Monday night was the last one of the season. I hope so. BTW, the Tromboncino squash are back to looking like their happy selves today.

And despite scarifying, and soaking my cucuzza squash seeds, which are in the greenhouse, no tiny green stuff is poking out of the pots. Maybe I should put them under the growlight.
