It means he’s a smart guy? Just guessing.
He may be too smart for his own good?
Mazeil succeeded in part on athletic ability and partly on smarts. I would have trouble drafting him high as an owner or GM because there’s no real certainty he’s going to be an immediate franchise player. That said, I suspect there’s a much better than 50% chance he will be a real success somewhere in the league as long as he works at it and is in the right situation.
Ryan Fitzpatrick, formerly of the Rams, Bengals, Bills and now Titans scored a 48 out of 50 on this test.
I don’t see any SuperBowls, or even any playoff victories for those teams.
What’s the civilian comparison? The Postal Exam!
I bet Johnny Football did not score as high on the Wonderlic as Tim Tebow.
32 is good? I scored in the 40’s...
I guess it means he MIGHT be smart enough to change his playing style to one that would work in the NFL without getting him killed. He’s still way to small be to a scrambler getting hit a lot.
As for football ... who the heck knows. Even the people that administer it say it doesn’t mean much. Dan Marino scored abysmally low and, well . . . didn’t seem to matter.
I don’t doubt that Manziel is intelligent, even though he acts like a dumbass a lot of the time. I have known a lot of very intelligent people who still do a lot of dumb things.
