urors in the trial of a white Florida man who fatally shot a black teenager over loud music said on their fourth day of mulling the case that they reached a verdict on four of five counts, but cannot come to a consensus on one count of first-degree murder.
Michael Dunn, 47, says he was acting in self-defense when he shot at an SUV 10 times while parked next to four teens at a Jacksonville, Fla., gas station in November 2012.
The shots killed Jordan Davis, 17, of Marietta, Ga. Dunn is charged with first-degree murder, three counts of attempted murder and one count of firing a deadly missile into an occupied vehicle.

Agreed but I have never seen any or dances enforced.
I agree. Not Guilty!
I agree. When I had my hearing checked years ago, he said I had the most sensitive hearing of anyone he had tested. I keep the tv very low. That loud racket really gets to me. Are they deaf? If not, they will be when they get older.
Mine, who’s 3 years old, is a wonderful dog. I just pray for him to have a long and happy life,.
Who does....don't you think shooting them is a bit of an overreaction ?
If you are not in your hometown, how do you know where a police station is? Just curious.
“...bass homing missiles and foul-mouthed lyric homing bullets...”
:-) This noise pollution problem has gone on for a long time. I recall trying to figure out some kind of feedback system which would burn out speakers of sound systems being played at assault levels. Sound homing devices were part of my strategy.
If ...IF the kids had a gun, all this would be different.Very different.
My understanding is the kids drove off and then came back. To get rid of the gun...the one that the police coudn’t find. If they did drive off and come back, I would have had to acquit, on the basis that there was a very probable issue of a gun being pointed at Dunn adn they drove off to get rid of it..and then there is my reasonable doubt.
All you need to know about the afro-Hispanic man Zimmerman, is the position of he and Martin when Martin was shot, of course seeing the photo evidence of Zimmerman’s injuries reinforces the facts of the case.
If this wasn’t a “heat of the moment” incident, then the differentiation between 1st and 2nd degree murder has no meaning.
Just why Dunn should have stayed at the scene and been the one to call the cops, just like Zimmerman did. By running he came close to admitting to murder.
I think perhaps the problem is more with your "word-smithing" than anyone else's comprehension.
Your "description" is a leftist cliche' academics use like a blowup doll to "pleasure" themselves; as a test it ranks right there with watermelon and a fondness for "white women."
jackass....
Phone apps. Even if not, drive to a populated area, well lit. Maybe a doughnut shop.
Do you REALLY have to have the concept of "disturbing the peace" explained to you, or are you just comfortable with your rationalization for public/civic passivity?
What an asinine statement.
In Florida, getting out of your vehicle in response to an altercation is considered assault. Are you so dim witted as to not see the analogous circumstances?
Oh, you should have seen Angela Corey's "explanation" of THAT on the news. George Orwell would be positively giddy.
Yes, I have a couple of #1 rules in life. They’re “Don’t mess with strangers”, “Don’t mess with cops”, “Never marry a stripper”, “Don’t get mad if your friend bluffs you in poker”.
They can all lead to untimely ends.
Others live and die by our decisions too.
I find a divergent group of opinions on FR. I thought it was supposed to be that way. Didn’t realize it was a club and not a quasi public political forum.
Dunn testified that one man pointed what looked like a gun. After the shooting the victims drove away, then returned with the two badly wounded teens still inside. A cousin of one was called, who then came up, spoke to them and left. then they called for help. Wonder why the police didn’t follow any of this up until weeks later ?
