No one would ever do that here. We have a barrage of people who collect and recycle plastic bottles.
It would be gone in 5 minutes.
Don’t drive to your hotel. Drive to a police station.
An evil laugh has escaped my mouth, when I think of the hearing loss. While delayed, it will be fitting retribution. Thinking about it keeps me from being irritated, while a boom car is beside me in traffic. I suppose that makes me a bad person; but, that’s Schadenfreude for you.
I totally agree. At long stop lights, a case certainly can be made for criminally induced temporary insanity.
History and recent experience has demonstrated that that approach, under these specific circumstances (5 against 1) would be have at best a 50-50 chance of being fatal --- to you.
Loud music in a public place is annoying as hell. There should be noise ordinances and they should be enforced. But that’s a ticket, it doesn’t mean you shoot them.
The libmedia will try to compare this to Trayvon Martin. They are completely unalike.
No. Jordan Davis was shot through the SUV door. The medical examiner testified that the deceased, Davis, was in the SUV and leaning away from the door when he was shot. There were nine bullet holes in the vehicle, four of them through the middle front of the Davis' door, at least two of which had a downward trajectory.
One thing that bothers me is that some people are pointing out that the kids were probably behaving like jerks, as though that makes it ok to shoot them. That bothers me because I could behave like a real jerk when I was seventeen, too.
Slayer beats any autotuned garbage anytime... I prefer Angel of Death.
We need bass homing missiles and foul mouthed lyric homing bullets.
How about just calling 911 when they start following you? Most cops just love to find a carful of urban “yuts” following a respectable citizen late at night.
Nani-nani-poo-poo.
There is a young woman here in my town that owns a Great Dane and I see her walking it around town. The dog, if it were to stand up, could lick the top of her head without any problem.
What a truly magnificent beast... it’s a shame they are so short-lived.
Interesting debate here, but I keep seeing people choosing sides in an absolutist stance. To me, this is a matter of degree.
You have a right to listen to your music in your car. You DO NOT have the right to crank it up to the point where, with windows down, it becomes an assault weapon.
Low frequency audio energy is extremely efficient at traveling to adjacent vehicles, and rattling them (and the occupants) to the point of extreme irritation. Sometimes, it’s impossible to have a normal conversation in your car while every surface and panel is vibrating sympathetically with the source in the next lane.
This doesn’t give you carte blanche to shoot the A-hole assaulting you. It doesn’t even give you right to silence the misused audio gear with a shotgun blast. But I certainly understand the motivation to do so.
Was it justifiable? No. But were the A-holes asking for some sort of confrontation? Absolutely.
You reap what you sow.
Yes there are some bootlickers, and other cheerleaders for tyrany... it's scary at times... other times I am just so happy we have a common set of values.
I’m advocating teaching people manners. You? What do you really advocate? I didn’t advocate anything with my post. Simply stated my position as a citizen sick of having my conversations interuppeted by screaming obscenities eminating from five cars back. Or having noise in my home so loud I cannot hear my own TV from chuckle heads driving by. And if one says anything about it to them they are likely to beat you within an inch of your life, if they take mercy on you. Take your outrage somewhere else.
You check out and get a different rental vehicle.
No dolt.
Indeed. A little manners, a little decency and manners would go a long way. In my youth we hot rodded cars. And yes he made plenty of noise. But we were usually restrained and if we did offend and were asked to stop we were respectful and toned it down and left.
