As with the last season, this season takes place in Cagayan, Philippines. This is the fourth consecutive season that Survivor has taken place in the Philippines
It has been reported from several sources that there will be no Redemption Island. I hope this is true. I guess we'll find out.

Probst to kids from the audience: So you kids watch old episodes of Survivor — where and when do you do this???
Kid from the audience: On You-Tube — when I’m sick or bored.
Probst quickly changes the subject.
LOL
Spencer told Tony it was a final two back when there was still four.
He based it off what Jeff said when there was still five in the game.
An once again this episode, the final revolved around “What would Woo do?” - and Woo once again didn’t make the big move.
Little surprised at the amount of votes Kass would have got = but then again it was against Woo.
I missed that part — how many said they would have voted for Woo if it had been Kass and Woo???
Just think if only Woo had been a step slower or Kass a step faster in that challenge Woo might have been saved from his blunder and been a million dollars richer.
It definitely ranks up there as one of the worst choices of all time. Woo was definitely outwitted to the very end — like a good puppy dog.
Was surprised to hear Tony got a parasite on the island and lost 45 pounds and has still not recovered from it. I wonder who pays for that therapy —
Sarah pregnant??? Ponderosa papoose??? I looked at LJ and Jeremiah after the announcement — they didn’t flinch.
‘...Just think if only Woo had been a step slower or Kass a step faster in that challenge Woo might have been saved from his blunder and been a million dollars richer.....”
Just about everyone that I could see would have voted for Kass.
I don’t think Woo stood a chance against Spencer, Kass or Tony.
I just watched that part again and 8 of them raised their hands when asked who would have voted for Woo for the million dollars if he was up against Kass.
That’s what I get for staying up past 10:00PM. I thought for sure Jeff asked who would have voted for Kass.
Some people are feeble minded enough to think tv shows are actually real.
I loved that Probst had to bring in a cop from New Jersey, the most corrupt state in the nation, to try to smoothe over Tony’s narcissistic prefabricating corkscrewing double-dealing gamesmanship.
I doubt after this that Tony will last long in his present occupation. If I were ever arrested by him and had to face him in court, I would have snippits of this season on the ready to discredit anything he said on the witness stand. Lying, deceiving, creating evidence, backstabbing just comes too easy for him.
Afterall the excuse that “it’s just a game” and “I’m only doing it for the money” can be said of police work as well. Then again, after a season of watching his tactics, maybe he is in the right line of work.
If Tony wins this then the Motto of Survivor will have to change from Outwit Outplay Outlast to Nitwit Foulplay Outlie.
Just finished watching it.. The question was how many would vote for Woo (8 ouf of the 9 raised their hand).. Woo would have won (I was face-palming when Woo chose Tony over Kass... I knew Wony would win it after that :/).
Runner up: Woo (1 vote)
Voted out last night: Spencer, Kass
Immunity challenge winners: Kass, Woo
Finalists: Tony, Woo
Jury: Jefra, Jeremiah, Kass, LJ, Morgan, Sarah, Spencer, Tasha, Trish
Eliminated: Alexis, Brice, Cliff, David, Garrett, JTia, Lindsey (quit)
Recap not yet available.

As of Survivor: Nicaragua, this is a new Survivor ping list. The old list is no longer available, so I would appreciate it if any of you could ping interested parties to this thread. Thank you. :)
If you want added to or removed from this ping list, please let me know.
So, how do you rate this season vs past seasons?
And, are you looking forward to next season?
I wanted Spencer to win from the second or third episode. How come they didn’t do a 100,000 fan favorite prize?? Spencer would have won for sure. Tony is an ass.
This ranks up there in the top 5 — it was a great season but a disappointing anti-climactic ending.
One of the worst parts of Survivor is the way it encourages good players like Spencer to be discarded so that goats like Kass can be dragged along to the end.
I don’t know how they can fix that other than from F4 onward the last place finisher in the challenges is automatically eliminated while the others move on.
Next season should be good — with another season of all new players.
They haven’t had that fan favorite award for several years now — and no explanation has ever been given.
The season it disappeared was the season they began paying the the survivors for every day they survived in the game and it went up if you survived the merge and then made it to F4.
Several years ago it was $1000/day for every day after the merge and then $10,000 apiece for making F4.
The reason for doing it that way was to keep everybody’s head in the game on a day by day basis.
As for Tony I see where the negative feedback is so intense that he has dropped his Twitter and he’s been taken off his police beat and given a desk job.
Thanks for hosting the pings list again. This season, imo, ranked in the top half. Pretty good challenges and interesting characters. Well, Tony was the only good character. Looking forward to next season with all new players.
Yeah, Woo, as you said, you’d be the stupidest person in the world if you brought Tony to the F2. I hollered NOOOO! so loudly, the dogs started whimpering when he picked Tony. The girlfriend’s father should decline his permission on that choice alone. I wouldn’t want a son in law who put strangers above family.
Wow, Kass looked really bad at jury and at the live show. What happened?
I don’t know where Trish got the idea she was the most loved person on the island. Ugh.
As I said up thread, Tony’s mouth, like Russell’s, would lose him the game at the finals and it very nearly did. If it weren’t for Spencer, the spiteful jury might have given the money to Woo. If Woo had won, that million would have disappeared in 6 months top. I’d written Spence off during the game but have to give him major kudos for that jury speech.
LOL, the kid who said he watched Survivor when he was bored or sick. Never ask a question you don’t know the answer to on live tv.
From Parvati interview:
Tony prepared for his 39 days by eating a jar of peanut butter a day and adding on fat to burn as opposed to Garrett who came lean and mean and burned out immediately.
Tony got a parasite and lost 45 lbs from drinking water with bugs and dead lizards in it without taking the time to boil it and he still hasn’t been able to recover his strength and put the weight back on.
In trying to get his strength back by lifting weights he injured a vertebrae in his neck further compounding his recovery.
Thank you for the pings, having done the duty myself a time or three, I know how much work goes into that.
All in all, the season was entertaining, and the winner was whom I expected. For having so many decisions in the hands of others, great playing. I’d say not how I’d play the game, but never done it myself, so I don’t know for sure. I’d hope I’d play it much more straight forward, but since it is a popularity contest, I’d have to suppress much to handle all the liberal idiots.
When did they stop giving cars away?
