Survivor: Cagayan — Brawn vs. Brains vs. Beauty is the 28th season of Survivor. It begins Wednesday, February 26, 2014 on CBS at 8/7c with a special two-hour episode.

There will be eighteen new players - no returning players - divided into three tribes of six players each, based on brains, brawn, and beauty.

As with the last season, this season takes place in Cagayan, Philippines. This is the fourth consecutive season that Survivor has taken place in the Philippines

It has been reported from several sources that there will be no Redemption Island. I hope this is true. I guess we'll find out.

Celebrity cast members include Miami Marlins president David Samson, former NBA all-star Cliff Robinson, former San Francisco 49ers cheerleader Morgan McLeod, professional poker player Garrett Adelstein, and MMA fighter Sarah Lacina (she's also a cop).

Aparri Tribe (brawn - orange buffs): Cliff, Lindsey, Sarah, Tony, Trish, Woo

Luzon Tribe (brains - green buffs): David, Garrett, J’Tia, Kass, Tasha, Spencer

Solana Tribe (beauty - purple buffs): Alexis, Brice, Jefra, Jeremiah, LJ, Morgan

Hmmmm, lets see….

The physical challenges will mostly go to the Brawny tribe, while the puzzle challenges will mostly go to the Brainy tribe.

The problem is what type of challenges will they have to even it out for “Beautiful people”? Extreme full body makeovers? Fastest bikini waxings?

I see the Beauty tribe being the first booties, followed by the Brainy tribe. (unless the producers decide to mix things up after the first two tribal councils.)
