CJ singing Tom Petty. This is going to SUCK.
YOu called it! LOL and you aint wrong!
Cookie appears to be an astute mentor
“Sheeez nnngood nnngirl”
When I see CJ and listen to him, I can see hm at home, singing to his wench on the porch...but I nave never (nor will I wevber) see him as a “headliner”
He hits a wrong chord right off... then his pitch is screwed up for half the song...
Buut he tries!
Looks like it might be the last week for CJ. But I will listen to him one more week if you take Urkel away.
They’re telling the kid all he has to do is learn to sing in tune?? I don’t get it. They should do a double elimination with him and Urkel.
We just got CJs “I suck and Im going home” speech...tonights show isnt even an issue, apparently
Again another slowed-down version of a classic 80's song. Tom Petty's "Free Fallin'".
ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ. If a hospital ever runs out of anesthesia, they can just play this song. Out like a light.
Jlo: There's never been a contestant that I've rooted for note for note like you. You touch peoples' hearts.
Harry: Can't really define it. There's a connection that you have. You were much more in tune. You're going to get it. A matter of zoning in and practicing intonation.
Keith: Great rendition of that song. You've got a survivor tone in your voice. Optimism.
So basically, “CJ you would be a really great singer, if only you sang in tune.”
Ooooookay.
Buh-bye now.
My eyes are slamming shut....see all fo you on the flip side...my GET OUTTA HERE” picks for this week are CJ and Urkel, and following CLOSE behind, is SAM...Let’s see how I do. Night all......those of us on the “Obamma” plan..actually need to go to bed, and get up and go to wirk in the morning (GASP!!!!!!) ;-)
Love ya...see ya
Sweet dreams!
Haha! You know those "dawgs" and "yos" can be exhausting :)
They pulled a pair Randy's Journey spandex from the hamper.
Will Caleb do a ballad? There were some serious power ballads in the 80s by nearly all the hair bands.
AND.... he's a lousy guitarist. I was in a country band years ago. We had a great singer (when he was sober)... but he couldn't play hardly at all. BUT... he had to have the guitar for a prop. We gave him an acoustic guitar and never plugged it in or put a mic on it. That's what they should do with this kid (when he gets home and is playing in the local VFW)
News alert...Randy was in Journey!
Randy was in Journey? You mean it was never mentioned all these years??????? Good God. Now they’ll say John Kerry served in Viet Nam.
He has been good. Definitely more substantial than ... whatever Randy does.
