Sounds like XM radio... the blend, or the coffee house.... I would have listened long enough to hear that one song before I turned it.... :)
I really like Alex. He is different. I like different.
Say what you will, but Harry Connick is truly giving this lad good advice!
I have not liked Pinky from the beginning....really disgusts me after she sang her kid killer song and smiled through it...sad, to me, that she is rewarded for it.
I agree...
He butchers "Every Breath You Take" by the Police. Apparently, being an "artist" means you have to slow down a song that wasn't intended to be slow. It's fast in some parts, rushed. Then frustratingly slow in others. A mess.
Another commercial interruption.
Harry: It sounded like a new tune. But as I watch you week to week is the difference between a performer and an entertainer. I can perform in my living room. But at some point this coffee house treatment is going to catch up to you. (yes)
Keith: When you started singing, you grabbed my attention like that. Push and pull the phrasing a little bit. Take some liberty with the tempo.
Jlo: I love your voice and love what you do. (but didn't like this version) To change it that much lost the soul of the song.
Well on THAT Point, I am with you 4X4!
That is inexcusable!!
Liking this duet!
Good except Jessica looked like she really didn’t want to be singing with Dexter
Yeah... Pinky is gonna make some money some day... I’m just saying :)
I reiterate, who ever is dressing Pinky should be fired!
Good thing she sang great.
She needs to get the DIVA smacked out of her!
Yeah, I was very disappointed in that particular song choice, and the fact that Idol gave it the OK. Ick.
Yeah, she’s not happy at all.
"Islands In The Stream" by Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton. They have zero chemistry on stage, but their voices sound great together.
No judges' comments this time as Keith and Harry have disappeared in the crowd, leaving Jlo sitting alone.
After the duet, Seacrest invites Pinky and Dexter to take the empty seats at the judges' table, which they do.
Harry: (screaming from the balcony) I LOVE YOU, JLO!
CJ is sounding WAY too suicidal in the lead up to his tune
