Sorry, Jonny, my son was wrong. She was on season 9. When we walked by the front door of the honky tonk, she was playing another song. She is more mature now than in this pic, and very poised, good voice, and very sweet, thanking everyone. Big smile. We couldn't go in because he is 17 and of course lil Lia is also underage!
Oh, I forgot to say, her name is Haeley Vaughn.

I did really enjoy David Cook the most of all contestants all season as well. He grew every week. He slunk in with that weird red streak in his hair, looking like a typical teen bum. By the end, he had become a hero (his brother, little girl with cancer) and a heart throb. He was the best at taking a major song and making it (let’s all say it together) “his own.”
I know this isn’t popular here, but I also looked forward to see what Adam Lambert would do each show. I thought he was really good. He wasn’t a preening queen then. He was one of the most polite contestants and really took their notes seriously. And he really wanted the other guy to win, because he was happy with the exposure. I was stunned and dismayed to see him flame it up post idol. He lost all those little girls and grandmas with that one hideous TV performance.
Is he (jack white) on the Nashville show? I am going to have to start watching it.
