David Cassidy, a former teen idol and star of the 1970s U.S. television series "The Partridge Family," was arrested in California on Friday night on suspicion of drunken driving — his third such arrest since 2010.
Cassidy, 63, was stopped on a road near Los Angeles International Airport after making a right turn on a red light in violation of a posted sign, the California Highway Patrol said in a news release.
After smelling alcohol coming from Cassidy's vehicle, an officer gave him a field sobriety test that showed a blood alcohol content of 0.19 percent, the patrol said. That level is more than twice the 0.08 legal limit for driving in California.
Cassidy was alone in the car, the patrol said.
Cassidy was charged in August with drunken driving in Schodack, N.Y., after initially being stopped for not dimming his headlights, authorities said at the time. He was arrested and convicted for drunken driving in Florida in 2010.

I used to think Susan Dey was really pretty.
Unfortunately, like just about every actor or actress they seem to have feet of clay. I recall reading where she said she was having regular sex with one of the show’s directors or whatever his position.
She was probably under age too.

We all had crushes on David Cassidy. Soooo cute! Susan Dey was a really cute girl too. That’s too bad if that’s true, but who would be surprised. What a dirt bag director.
Surely you are as young and pretty as you were FIFTY years ago. It never ceases to amaze me how even “conservatives” (my friends) who are now bald, fat, flawed, divorced, and otherwise wrinkled take their anger at “time” out on their old stars. Look in a mirror.
This is the way it happened to me too. You get away with it for years, then you get your first one, and after that they start coming faster and faster.
Then you wake up and quit.
Golux, I was merely saying that David Cassidy is destroying his own life. I remember a man once talking about how old everyone was that was mentioned, but most were actually younger than this man even if only a year or two. This must be the theme you are addressing. But yes, I don’t look like I did fifty years ago for sure!

I understand that he was quite the wild child. Currently he’s part of a team on a classic rock radio show in seattle.
His dad may also have had some serious mental health problems as well.
I was shocked to read that Jack Cassidy died at 49.
I think she had an eating disorder way back then too.

Wake up one day and your hair doesn’t look right. Each day, it gets worse. You get wrinkles. Your hairline recedes.
When you consider how much this guy changed, he’s been remarkably sane. And let’s not forget we are comparing David Cassidy at age 33 to David Cassidy age 63!!!
