Pre-caffeine I'm not clever enough to figure out what to do here.
First off, am I the only one experiencing this?
Second, what do???

You probably allowed Firefox to autoupdate.
The newer versions are not compatible with Norton - yet.
On the last update, I had to wait about two months before all; my stuff ran on Firefox. And I run very “”minimaliat.”

Mine’s working fine too. Because of the spelling of “behaviour”, it makes me wonder if this isn’t some sort of malware or virus. I’d run those first, then if the problem persists, maybe uninstall it and re-install it.

You probably have a corrupted file in your hard drive.
Probably worst case, uninstall and reinstall Firefox.

Your profile is stored in %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\
The error message seems to indicate a permissions issue with one or more of those folders. If no problem with the permissions seems apparent to you then try reinstalling Firefox.

What version number?
==
Each version seems to have its own problems. Some will open/download PDFs, some won’t. Some will run Flash video, some won’t. Some extensions work, some don’t.
Firefox has become a mess.

It isn’t Firefox.
It is Windows.
Which, although I am stuck with it, sucks.

I’ve never seen such a thing in Firefox, but then again, I haven’t actively adjusted the security features.

A compromised browser isn’t going to tell you it’s compromised.

Try this.
Go to HELP on the menu bar. Click on TROUBLESHOOTING INFORMATION.
Click on RESET FIREFOX to default mode.

I've been having problems with FF shutting down all the time without warning. Fixed it by downloading the beta version.
Now if I could just get rid of the ad links on every page (I have downloaded several blockers but none do the trick).

I had some warning a few weeks ago. Got the update and it has been fine since.
