So the zombies are at your door. Death is upon you, but the gun shop is just a block away. You make a run for it, and you make it to the most extensive armory for miles. Time to make a decision: Which guns do you grab? Contrary to popular belief, not every gun will do the job the same, so to help make up your mind on which guns will save your life, here are my eight best guns for the zombie apocalypse.

>>You want a gun chambered in the same caliber that the enemy uses,<<
DHS carries AR-15’s and 16’s. They do consider you as their enemy so you should do the same.
Spears and tomahawks are also handy “silent” weapons to have around.
As an OWG that's weird, but unfortunately as a realist these daz quite true.
I’d throw in a semi pistol in 9 mm, 40S&W or .45 ACP. Maybe a heavy barrel .300 Win Mag. Otherwise your list is good.
;-)
I am in agreement that one needs a “reach out and touch someone” bolt action - I prefer 30-06, a carbine, a tactical shotgun, a Ruger 10/22, a large bore pistol on the hip a high capacity BUG, .22 cal air rifle.
Need knives, tomahawk, machete, crossbow.
I based my BUG on the fact that DHS bought shitloads of .40s&w, so I figured there may be some ammo circulating if things get hot.
I meant to say compound bow, although a crossbow would be fun.
Does anyone know if std issue for DHS is level II fabric? And, will a blade (arrow) penetrate it?
Never forget the nuisance raids that can be accomplished with thermite...
Jesus isn’t against us defending ourselves, and who’s gonna be left behind?
Last time I read the Bible He’s going to establish His Kingdom here on Earth, so where would we be going if He’s coming here?
Can hit a postcard with a hawk at several paces!
I like that AR-7, and I’ve always heard Henry makes great stuff. Not that I’d ever buy something so terrifying as a rifle!
Similar for me, except on my way to a boating accident, some Mexicans stole my boat and weapons.
And I'll have to make due with my first pressing of Blue Monday.
I have one in my backpack that I take on long hikes. If I would ever break a leg, I am guaranteed a source of food. And did I mention it floats? That is simply too cool to pass up.

I gave my son one when he earned his Eagle Scout badge. it's a fun gun to shoot.
I always did like the B-1s. Saw one fly over a mountain very close to the ground. Very cool.
Add me to the list of What sci fi show is that from?
Price is very reasonable as well. Thanks again for posting the link.
Cabela’s had them on sale in Se0t for 209.
Haven’t the foggiest. A friend sent me the picture.
