So the zombies are at your door. Death is upon you, but the gun shop is just a block away. You make a run for it, and you make it to the most extensive armory for miles. Time to make a decision: Which guns do you grab? Contrary to popular belief, not every gun will do the job the same, so to help make up your mind on which guns will save your life, here are my eight best guns for the zombie apocalypse.

I was thinking one of those cute little 50 caliber sniper rifles for the long range stuff. Maybe a BAR would work well if they are coming in groups.
From the movie the Dogs of War, Walken had this great weapon that handled multiple kinds on ammo. Probably would need a shotgun so any combat one would do.
If the liberals...err Zombies get through all of that, a .357. If you are down to that, you want the finale to be fun before the last round goes through your skull.
“...if you live in Mass., those would make you a felon without massive amounts of paperwork.”
I had no idea, but I sure don’t doubt it.
The B-52’s around 60yrs+ old also, isn’t it? A real testament to those airframes and our men who keep them flying.
Can you get an IWB holster for that thing?
Herbie Goes Ballistic!
Yeah, the B-52 is at least that old. That’s roll-out date, not design. Wiki says April 1952. Amazing, and they’re still in regular use.
That little toy could give rather a bit of a problem with recoil, muzzle blast, and report. Also, one might be somewhat portability challenged, even with a full size SUV.
Zombies = Democrats.
Me too.
So we should both be good to go as soon as the ATF verifies the transactions on the security camera tapes.
A big boy’s toy .....
No doubt, but the ones flying now are H models built in 1961, 62 & 63.
Fair point, for sure, but I’m younger than that and feel the aches and pains of some “good, clean livin’” as my short Montana general superintendent used to call it.
If only you had a Warthog to mount it in. :-)
Shame I was out in the parking lot in-between several large trucks. Camera probably couldn’t see us
M-1 garand, .45 M1911 and a Roman Gladius for that “up close” feeling.
Yeah, to a certain extent.
Government dependent democrats, to be more precise.
When the government isn’t doing the stealing for them,
some of them are going to take it upon themselves to do so.
That’s another thing that “good liberals” never want to admit - that they are using the government as an instrument of theft.
Seriously, challenge a liberal to walk across the room and take money out of your wallet instead of having the government do it for them.
Bought my wife a .380 because she can chamber the round. First things first. She is very accurate so I figure 4 or 5 rounds to the torso and then 3 or 5 to the face ought to do the trick.
I’m gonna go a different route;
How about a Savage Model 24 [.22LR over 20GA] Henry Survival [AR-7] in .22LR,Benjamin model 392 .22 air rifle,Benj. NP in .22, for when regular ammo runs out or hard to get like now. Or how about any of the precharged pneumatic air rifles [the larger calibers can bring down very large dangerous game]
I lost all of my guns in a boating accident in the Gulf of Mexico.
