Well, when you’ve only spent $2 billion dollars building it, you can’t expect it to last forever.

Place served its purpose. The DNC has all the information they need on the TEA Party and conservatives. At this point I wouldn’t be surprised if the place explodes to cover everything up.

Flames as in fire? Or is it an euphemism?

As it should be.

The contractor that designed the flawed system—Pennsylvania-based Klingstubbins—said in a statement that it has “uncovered the issue” and is working on “implementing a permanent fix.”

But that’s not the case, according to the Army Corps of Engineers (ACE), which is in charge of overseeing the data center’s construction. ACE disagreed with the contractor and said the meltdowns are “not yet sufficiently understood.”

This is even more embarrassing than healthcare.gov site

This thing has as much luck as an Iranian or Syrian nuke facility. Hmmm?

The building is not on fire, so the headline is somewhat confusing.

“Within the last 13 months, at least 10 electric surges have each cost about $100,000 in damages, according to documents obtained by the Wall Street Journal.”

So, there have been a series of electric surges over the past year, which have destroyed a total of a billion dollars worth of computer equipment.

I installed a supercomputer at a Navy site several years ago.

First, they did not have the power strung out to the location, then tey had the wrong connectors on the power cables, then they finally allowed me to connect it up.

I powered it up and brought down the power to four buildings because they had patched me into a junction box without sufficient capability.

It would be somewhat amusing to discover a Stutnex-type worm had infiltrated the NSA Spy Center.
