Yeah, I definitely second that. Battlestar Glactica was excellent.

Yes, most of Jesse’s behavior epitomizes the depravity of the millenials, but he also has a big heart, and is as much a tragic character as Walt. So, I didn’t mind seeing him be the last man standing.

Great ending, sad that it is over. Hopefully something comes along that compares.

“Blood, Meth & Tears?

Is that the name of a rock band?”

It sure sounds like it, although I’m not too sure, but I’m not gonna ‘sweat’ it. :)

What were Uncle Jack’s last words?

I only caught a few of them.

Sounded like, “If you kill me you’ll never find something.”

Then, Walt shot him.

What were Uncle Jack’s last words?

He asked Walt "Don't you want to know where the money is? If you kill me you’ll never fi. . . " BANG!

I saw a couple predictions on freerepublic about the ricin and who it was going to be for, they nailed that one.

Notice how Uncle Jack died in mid sentence just like Hank did?

Except that Jack was trying to bargain for his life, something Hank refused to do.

Jack said that Walt would never get his money back - the 80 million - if he killed him. Walt shot him before he could even finish the statement.

“I also didn’t expect things to turn out the way they did with the rich couple.”

Yeah, that was a surprise. The show’s writers really impressed me. They always came up with something unexpected. By the way, see this: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2438152/Kevin-Cordasco-How-Breaking-Bad-fan-cancer-influenced-season-finale-got-air.html

“Notice how Uncle Jack died in mid sentence just like Hank did?”

and

“Everybody died as they lived. The Nazi’s violently, Todd death, bloodless, seems somehow ritualistic. Lydia’s death by ricine poisoning from an hidden hand, much like she lived — secretly pulling on the doll strings she could reach. Finally, Walter. Walter died as he lived — a victim on circumstance to the very end.”

You’re right...and a heck of a lot more insightful on this show than I am!

Yes. Nice resolution. It ended how I wanted it to, but oddly enough it wasn’t as satisfying as the ending to the a Shield, which was haunting and somewhat unresolved.

The only thing, his kid did nothing for 10 million bucks, and that was a feel good for the poor crippled kid. That allowed Walt a gift in that his family was cared for that WAlt did not deserve. It was way more than any dead man has for his family, way more. And it was for the sson to care for his family. Why not for Holly too and why at all. Let them suffer, kids always suffer for parental failing and that is why good parents are good and an example and dont go down the crime road.

Call me judgemental! I am!

This ending will make packaging re-runs easier and more profitable. None of this bs clamor for a movie or reunions because the principal is dead. Vince Gill gets credit for this credible ending that many reviews call “satisfying” Good for them all. Well done and finished!

Walt lived like a man (I did it for me, I liked it) and died like a man (in a time and place of his choosing) as long as one can forget that meth is about the most satanic drug ever invented and it is 100% synthetic. No need to grow and process messy plants as in cocaine and opiates

And why invite Jessee to kill him? He knew he was dying? Jesse killing him would have firther injured Jessee morally.

Walt was a S OB to the end. His one moment of honest, that he did it for himself, does not mitigate all his actions including blackmailing his former partner.

I am so judgemental aren’t I?

The 10 million would have been given to Skylar but Jesse was the easier (logical) way to do it given Skylar will be under government investigation for years.

Walt knows Jesse will spread the money within the family so Walter’s mission was accomplished. Just so long as the ultra dopey Schwartz couple follows through. This was the weakest link in last nights story

"Any more questions?"

No, I just wondered why someone who had never watched the show would bother to to chime in on a discussion about the show he'd never watched. Lots of disruptors and trolls like to dump water on other people's good time, just to be jackwagons. I was just checking to make sure you weren't one of those.

I didn't watch it, either, until last week's marathon. Yes, it's worth watching. I DVRed the marathon, and will watch the whole series from the beginning over the next few months.

Scouts Out! Cavalry Ho!
