New U.S. mayor sets sights on 'black nation'

Voters in Jackson, Miss., a mid-sized city in the heart of the Deep South, have picked a Democrat as their mayor. What’s different about this individual is that he is a former leader of the Republic of New Afrika, a group dedicated to creating an independent black nation out of five southern states.

Now leading the city of about 175,000 is Chokwe Lumumba – who has a long history of radical activism and whose plans for the largest city in Mississippi could be called “revolutionary.”

A co-founder of the Malcolm X Grassroots Movement, which promotes black “self-determination,” Lumumba was sworn in on July 1, after winning 86 percent of the vote in the general election

you are right or course in that it's not a valid answer, but i don't see conceding a large swath of the country to them as a real possibility either

i'd rather give them Chicago, Detroit, LA, and a few other cities they already control, and have destroyed, then make them swim or sink, but i don't see that happening either...

the reason i don't see it as a ten year war is because i think the EBT Nation would starve to death in the first year if not two...

It is a case study of how it goes in the south under black rule

A city 85% black with one affluent white pocket left in the northeast

Surrounded by middle to upper middle class white towns

Totals population around 600,000 metro

City proper has lost around 20% population and over half terrain is abandoned to semi abandoned ghetto

It is ironically the real Lost Cause

Jackson was 75% white and socially conservative Democrat till 25 years ago and was a safe decent place to grow up

Exactly. This is yet another step in the leftward drift-or is it a march now-of "conservatism" towards the left. America is not and never was, in the best of it, merely a "propositional" nation.
