This morning on the walk to work, I saw the girl at the Kwik-Fill walk out to the corner and flip the sign for the Credit Price for gasoline. With one quick motion, it went from $3.45/USG to $3.55... right before my eyes... the stuff is made right here in town, too.

Same down here. No lines, no panic, they just note the hike and sit in the boiling pot.

$3.39 regular on one side of town, $3.55 on the other. Price is widely variable and has been all year. A month ago best price was below $3.20.

I have noticed similar differences. Have seen .30 difference from here to 30 miles south; but this past Sunday, the diff was only about a nickel.

We’ll see. I’m off to San Francisco this weekend to visit family. $4.50/gallon most likely there — that is IF you can find a gas station!!

Those digital price signs do get a workout, sometimes changing between morning commute and lunch. I guess they’re counting on convenience to sell the higher price locally, but I have a thirty mile commute.

Anything causes gas prices to jump. A Saudi Sheik could sneeze and prices would jump.
