I know this sounds hysterical to post about a seemingly tin foil conspiracy development but I am prepared to risk some credibility and get it out there so that we can say we weren't completely surprised.

First, 120 embassies have been shut down. The rationale is presumably because AQ is planning an attack. Fine, go with that but that's not the real reason I am hearing from credible sources.

I'll say in my own defense that I was told by another source last October, a substantial source who nevertheless did not have 100% of my trust, that Israel would attack Iran and that WW III would start as a result. I argued with that source and refused to relay it further. So when I hear of major predictions, I'm not quick to buy into them.

But this source is very credible to me. Still things can happen where it doesn't come to pass, and if it doesn't, that's Ok by me. I think it's worth putting it out there.

Let me also say that I don't have all the pieces of the puzzle but possess a good sense of the general activity.

Without any more pre-qualification I'll just get right to it.

The 105mm howitzer I worked with could rupture eardrums, lungs, and cause your eyes to reportedly bleed if you were in a cone shaped area in front of the firing piece.

It is my thinking that kayaks are not for rough water. They are for calm water, and very quiet nature photography.

Actually the USS Arizona is Not still in commission, she was stricken from the Register on December 1, 1942.

I know a Gentlemen who was a Lt. in the Army During Vietnam and he said in 68/9 he got to call in a 12 Salvo Bombardment from the USS New Jersey (Iowa and Missouri's Sister).

He said the sound was truly indescribable, simply "Fire and Noise" when those 16 Inch Shells Impacted the Ridge.

"Day of the Falcon"

works out well, until the American oil riggers show up and Nesib's integrity is over-tested, and he allows oil drilling
in the Yellow Belt. The war starts up again. This movie handled the Islam/infidel situation very well, with no heavy-
handed politics one way or the other, so I never once screamed at the screen.

Two Mississippi children, Ellis (Sheridan) and Neckbone (Lofland) discover an interesting drifter, Mud (McConaughey),
who is trying to salvage a boat stuck high in a tree from a flood on a river island. He befriends the boys and they soon find
out that he is in town to meet up with the woman he considers the love of his life, Juniper (Witherspoon). The two boys get
very wrapped up in the situation to the point of danger to themselves after some vengeance-seeking vigilantes arrive to kill
Mud because he killed an influential man's (Baker) son defending Juniper. It was pretty good, plenty of nice rednecks.

I stand corrected.

There are a lot of sites online that do report that the Arizona is still commissioned, but the Navy does say otherwise. Part of the confusion comes from the fact that the flag is still flown on the Arizona. The National park Service calls it a 'symbolic' recommissioning.

The USS Arizona was stricken from the Naval Vessel Register in December of 1942. 
On March 7, 1950, the Arizona was symbolically "re-commissioned" when a flagpole 
was erected on the ship. The USS Arizona is treated as one of the current fleet 
and the flag flying on the ship's mast only flies at half-staff when the other 
ships fly their flags at half-staff.
