Just heard Obama say that when he walked across the street he would hear car doors lock...
I always lock my car door and no doubt I have locked it before getting out of the car at various times certain minorities have walked by, does this make me a witch... errr racist????
My doors are getting locked for my safety, not for what you think about my doors getting locked and not for what I think about what you think about my doors getting locked, Mr. pResident.

Of course. It was a point made by one of my Property Law professor that whites should not be allowed to leave urban areas in numbers large enough to negatively affect the city. That was a decade ago.

He mentioned that along with some other things in his little talk, like everything has to do with being black. By making these points, he’s only fanning the flames:
*Being followed in department stores…It’s happened to me many times.
*Car doors being locked…I do that, with no regard to the race of the person I see outside.
*Alone on an elevator…I’m suspicious of any stranger I find myself alone with, anywhere. I’m petite and just about anyone could whoop me.
Wondering, do black women not lock their car doors? I can’t imagine being so negligent.
Do black men never question that a stranger on an elevator might want to rob them? I bet they do and get off on the wrong floor just to avoid trouble.
Absolutely not if it was my turn. I was showing him that I didn’t make that decision on the fact that they were black, because one could not see thru the tinted windows what they looked liked.

I always lock my car, and I lock it specifically if there is a man around. You don’t know. The majority of people are good people, but it just takes one crazy.
Being a woman I always lock my car, especially if I am driving in an Urban area.
Lock the doors and check the S&W.
