Last night was the 2013 MLB All-Star game. Ah, Americas pastime! Who doesnt love a good baseball game? And what better way to open up Americas game then with a heartfelt rendition of God Bless America? And wait, a minute. Who is this guy coming out to sing God Bless AMERICA?

I find the commentary unconscionable. My wife and kids are moreno and more American than any of the alleged Americans making these statements.
Looks more like a democrat party/KKK reunion.
Facts behind this statement for the unwashed:
History shows that the Ku Klux Klan was the terrorist arm of the Democrat Party.
The Truth Comes Out...The KKK Was Founded By The Democrat Party
He’s Jennifer Lopez’s ex-, right?
I hear him sometimes on the Sirius Spanish-pop channel. He is a good vocalist.
I agree with you. I served with Puerto Ricans in the military for years, both on active duty as well as with the National Guard and Air National Guard. They fought and died as brothers in arms in all our wars. This twitter attack is BS.
I hate racism. And that’s a natural fact.
Thanks Caipirabob. Remember the Zimmerman trial outcome?
It was during the 7th inning stretch. However, there are some who think God Bless America should have been the national anthem instead of The Star Spangled Banner.
People’s worst instincts seem to rising more and more.
(Skinny little thing, isn’t he? J-Lo would make two of him!)
It’s a good thing there are no Hispanics playing in MLB. That would be Un-American. /s
It looks to me like most of the people criticizing him don’t have a very large vocabulary........mainly just the F bomb.
1) People who are very upset with Obama's amnesty for illegal aliens plan.
2) People who think Trayvon was viciously assassinated by a Hispanic guy
There is, potentially, a racial demographic associated with the 1) and the 2) above. I leave it as an exercise to the reader to determine if the split is 50%/50% or if perhaps one of the above groups is perhaps especially outraged and especially vocal this week, and perhaps representing much more than 50% of the comments.
For my own opinion, I see no reason to be surprised or upset that someone with a Hispanic background would sing a patriotic song at a baseball game. Seems pretty natural to me, no matter what other events are going in the political world.
I was ou Tuesday night and missed the early part of the ASG. Who sang the national anthem? Thank-you!
Yeah, the F-bomb seems to predominate. Makes me think the comments are coming from Liberals. Which is why I think this is an anti-Zimmerman backlash, coming from the black community.
Let’s not link to tumblr, please. This is blog pimping and on tumble 80% is porn
This is just another reason baseball is losing it’s popularity. Baseball fans are so dumb. And we say it has nothing to do with racism? Marc Anthony is 100 percent American and the so called baseball fans are complaining that he sung?????
I just wonder which side these idiots are politically. I hope they have NOTHING to do with the GOP and even moreso conservatives. We don’t need these types. I doubt they would vote for Obama though......very scary how wicked these people are.
I went to college in PR in the early 70’s. I had gone to high school on the mainland at the height of anti-Americanism during the war. I found far more true-blue America-backers on campus in PR than here.
Yes, there was an Independence faction that was anti-American, but they were small in number compared to the pro American kids. I am not Puerto Rican looking, but I was not discriminated against in the least in PR. Fond memories of PR and its people.
These are people of the land. The common clay of the new West. You know, morons.
