He was looking to find a street address to meet the officers at, this was part of the complex area he was not as familiar with and didn’t want to send them to a place he wasn’t going to be because he got a street name wrong. Cops had originally wanted to meet at his home and asked for his home address, but he wasn’t sure where the person ran off to and didn’t want to say his address out loud in case it was overheard by the person he was chasing.

The dispatcher wanted to know where St. Tray went so they could send the police to the correct address. St. Tray wandered down a sidewalk between two rows of housed where the road didn’t go and George couldn’t see him anymore..

Not trying to be funny. My understanding is that Zimmerman phoned 911 from inside his car and was told to stay put and not to pursue TM. I am asking how it came to be that he at some point got out of the car and followed TM. Again, thanks to anyone who knows the answer.

Doesn’t change the fact that testimony in the trial supported that Tray, 6 feet 170 lbs jumped Zimmerman and was doing a pound and ground.

A valid question. I imagine I might have done the same if lost track of a suspicious person in my neighborhood AND I was the neighborhood watch volunteer. I would have provided his whereabouts to the police and then returned to my car.

My recollection is that St. Trayvon had slipped out of sight, and the operator asked Zimmerman if he could still see him. He got out and looked. He asked if the operator wanted him to follow on foot. The operator said, "We don't need you to do that." So he headed back to the car.

But the THC-paranoid child Trayvon had doubled back, and snuck up on Mr. Zimmerman before he could get to his car. Then the altercation occurred, with long-lasting consequences for the 12-year-old choirboy, I mean the 17-year-old burglar-thug. That's what I recall.
