INDIANAPOLIS — A professor at an Indiana college says he has found film footage showing President Franklin Delano Roosevelt being pushed in his wheelchair, depicting a secret that was hidden from the public until after his death.

Ray Begovich, a journalism professor at Franklin College south of Indianapolis, said Tuesday he found the eight-second clip while conducting unrelated research in the National Archives in College Park, Maryland. The National Archives and the FDR Presidential Museum and Library couldn’t say for certain if other such footage exists but both said it is at least rare.

I would say that we give as much a sh*t about FDR's wishes as he gave about the wishes of the American taxpayer.

Especially when it came to the contents of their (our) wallets.

70+ years ago, the leftist MSM provided protective cover for the US’s first President for Life. A majority in this country will all too easily give up their liberty for bread and circuses. The MSM will gladly facilitate our decent into a dictatorship... as long as the “right” people are in power.

It wasn’t that many yrs. ago I found out FDR was wheelchair bound.
All the pics you see of him he is standing behind a podium or sitting in a group. The MSM did an excellent job of hiding the fact.
And I was born during his admin.

Is this a big deal? The public knew he was in a wheelchair but it was not shown in newsreels or stills. The press honored FDR by not showing this but I think the public knew about his disability. In those days, the press was willing to censor itself for the “greater good”, today?

Thanks...Everyone knew.....geez....polio was such a campaign when I was a kid. I remember selling hundreds and hundreds of boxes of salt for a dime. I just told my grandchildren (ages 5, 9, 12) about this horrible disease.

My mom said it was commonly know during the war years. The media simply waited to take pictures or film when FDR was seated in a car or had been helped up to “stand” with his braces...

Oh, they are still censoring themselves for the “greater good”. The “good” is their continued existence and the “greater good” is their judgement that obamaumao will succeed as a dictator. This is similar to the “greater good” the German press shared (w/herr Goebbels directing) in supporting Hitler.

The “press” as it were is now the internet, which of course the dictator is trying to control. Hillary did too. They all will want to, and we must stop them.

It is best to understand this as dictatorship, and not of the proletariat.

During the depression our president was handicapped. And had no knowledge of economics.

Now, we have a mentally handicapped president (and VP I might add) while our economy is in a wheelchair and the president is pushing the wheelchair off a cliff while the press hide, once again the presidents handicap and the wheelchair.

Modern times we live in!

Calm down...the greater good can also be self-serving for the press which is normal but, and this is a big but...there was, up until the Nixon presidency, a modicum of behavioral codes that the press “honored”.

They looked the other way and never grilled White House Press Secretaries during the FDR, Truman, Eisenhower, Kennedy and Johnson administrations.

It started during the Vietnam war and accelerated with Watergate. The press up until ~1970 was less aggressive than it is today.
So, if you go back to FDR's years (1933-45) you see a somewhat “gentler” press because they looked out for each other and had RESPECT for FDR's disability.

Compare that to today's press completely ignoring BHO’s disability of the brain...

Like it==”disablility of the brain” and several other areas, like nose candy aggravating/accentuating his narcissism. One completely screwed up community agitator who cannot be an executive for anything. Push through to who exactly is running this “apparat” and it seems it must be radical islam, and the homo underbelly of the unspoken “man-boy” relationships w/in islam (despite their efforts to cover it up, it is true).

Frank Marshall Davis’s son by Stanley Ann Dunham (only incidentally married to Kenyan Barack Sr.), and brought up by his swinger grandparents (yuk) close friends with his “daddy”. Produces a sick person, for sure.

The “greater good”? Well, yes, I suppose if you consider their interpretation of the greater good. There were progressives then who were trying to help FDR to form a socialist state. Today, we have media who are all too happy to help Obamugabe go even further.

I strongly suspect that your idea of the greater good is not congruent with that of Obama or of his many supporters and enablers.

The greater good for me is not Obama’s vision of self-destruction both at home and abroad. Nowhere is this more present right now than the Egyptian people bare willing to forego US aid because Obama supported the MB there. He has destroyed the US from within and lost 40 years of gains in foreign policy.

The FDR memorial is one of the worst monuments I’ve ever seen. Totally botched.

All in line with the progressives’ plan for the destruction of America.

This should give one pause to think about US government cover-ups. If the wheelchair, not top secret, could be kept secret, just about any conspiracy aired today could easily be true. No one will talk in or out of government.
