LOL Funny how so many think the stick is there to help other drivers read their minds.

These devices are illegal to use in Florida and in many other states.

I might also add that it does not automatically turn off when switching lanes.

Saw a A-hole driving a beemer today, S’ ing from left to right, between cars, and apparently he didn’t know about this device. That, or their not putting them on beemers anymore.
The jerk is in Greenwood....ya, you know who you are.

OnStar will let your dealer know how your engine is running, how many miles are on the vehicle and even help locate it when stolen. NSA can track you forever.

In Maryland, use of these secret devices is considered “snitching” for which you can be killed if caught.

I learned about these when offensive driving in Chicago: Don’t use them! It tells people what you intend to do, and they’ll cut you off to stop you. Forewarned is forearmed! Surprise is your best friend getting off the Dan Ryan!

I can remember when lots of cars did not have turn signals.
You had to put your arm out the window and make hand signals.

A much more insidious device is the one that inexplicably forces a driver to pull to the edge of a single lane to turn right or left as opposed to riding down the middle of the lane. Got the side of my truck reamed by a dopehead in a Saab once that way.

What are you talking about? I have a 2009 Hyundai Elantra and have not noticed anything on the steering column. Be more specific - do all cars have them or when did this start or are you just talking about our turn indicator?
