Okay, we sort of know which countries have the best food. Nations like Italy, China, and Japan. But here is an unusual question: Which country has the worst food and why?
Until recently I would say that the British Isles has the worst food. Boiled and overcooked is NOT the way to prepare most food since it cooks the flavor right out of it. However, in recent years food has reportedly improved in that part of the world.
So which country NOW has the WORST food in the world? And please give reasons for this if possible.

A guy from Ireland once told me that they had lousy food there because all their effort went into producing good whiskey.

...and if you drink enough good Irish whiskey, you won’t care what the food tastes like.

Philippines. Theyll eat anything and call it food. Lumpia is the Philippine's saving grace.
Any place that serves up goat, however, is in the running for worst.

My husband visited Ireland and Scotland, and he thought that the food was fairly good.

Actually I love the way they cook Ox tails in the Philippines and they have a great way of baking cake. Very tasty.

I have to say I was NOT impressed with the food in France, despite its gastronomic reputation. They’l put literally ANYTHING into a sausage casing and sell it.

France and Italy have the best food, because you almost cannot get a bad meal. Mexico also has a wonderful cuisine.
The worst food I’ve had was in Cuba.
The U.S., with all its abundance, has failed to develop its cuisine.

France. I expect my answer will not be popular with some people here but I cannot think of a single French food item that I would like. I always thought they make it look real fancy to compensate for it’s lack of taste and quantity.
