In case anyone is wondering, today is Utah’s Statehood Day, better known as Pioneer Day. Since some of my ancestors were in several migrations west, I feel a particular warmth and gratitude for their sacrifices.
And so, even though I’m no longer a Utah resident, I celebrate today!!!

Thanks! Nevada Day is on Hallowe’en, but Nevada Day came first, I think.
I prefer Pioneer Day. Even though I was born here (Reno) and some of my forebears were sent here to settle the valley, I still relate to Utah.
They seem to have much more fun celebrating, with parades, picnics, rodeos and general all around fun for large groups!
That’s a strange looking bird feeder you have on the roof of your house.
But it catches all kinds of birds...most of them are worth watching!

Pop-up headlamps are the best thing.
I may do carbon brakes and a new exhaust system and racing suspension though. Lighten the car up a bit and modernize everything without changing the exterior or motor.

But you could also put a back-up camera in the license-plate frame. On-board navigator, that sort of thing.
