That’s even worse. Children at that age are the world’s greatest athletes. Nothing bothers them and there are no boundaries.
Unless, of course, it was my daughter we are discussing. Her favorite physical activity was reading or watching TV. I used to have to threaten her with bodily harm to get her to go outside.
Joining the Coast Guard was the making of her!
Finished supper. Next I need to take James to a meeting to discuss packing and other issues for his campout which begins tomorrow.

I think Anoreth made a wise decision, joining the Coasties. No matter what branch of the military, the children will become adults shortly after enlisting. My son joined the army, my daughter joined the navy, and it was the beginning of adulthood for each of them. Neither regret their decisions.
I’m having a bowl of cereal (so I don’t have to eat breakfast in the morning!) and I’m hearing some booming noises from the northwest.
James will do just fine. And so will James.
And with that, I think I’m off to bed. The noises seem to be getting a little louder, which means I need to get off here. Especially since my virus, etc., protection was no longer in effect as of three months ago. I hope I have enough left over this payday to renew some virus protection...
