Virtual coffee is only useful if you plan to virtually wake-up.
” As previously noted somewhere, dew knot trust spell checker two ketch awl ewer mistakes... “
I will bare this in mynd.
” Thats a pig.”
No, it’s just Candy Crowley, all gussied up.
Could you pick up some coffee for me, as well? I use Millstone, unflavored. Thanks! I’ll look for it in the DarkFAX...
One just needs to remember that heat kills, and in the desert, it kills everything, organic or inorganic. Car parts and finishes are extremely susciptible, so it is imperative to keep a record of every item that is replaced or repaired on a vehicle. That way, you can estimate when it might need to be done again.
Tires may still have good tread after three years, but three summers of 120+ heat on asphalt and concrete will cause them to dry and split. The same with all rubber on the vehicle. Lots of people here use dashboard covers, even if they also use the sunscreens in the windows to give the dash a little more life. Dry rot inside a vehicle is pretty ugly.
And if you aren’t careful, you can get a nasty burn from the door handles and/or the steering wheel! I need to get a steering wheel cover, but I don’t think I can swing it this payday.
It actually amazes me that they can make a spell checker when spelling makes so little sense (or is that cents)?
Why doesn’t “good food” rhyme?
If enough rhymes with gruff why doesn’t bough rhyme with buff? And don’t even get me started with through and stuff.
Sheesh. It’s enough to make a grown man weep (or weap, or wepe).
” Rule number one: Don’t get between a piglet and its food source.”
I will endeavor not to do so..
” Why doesnt good food rhyme?”
It’s hard to come by.
Only gonna be 108 today. Gotta find a sweater to put on.
Yepper. By Sunday, I will be digging out my long johns... ;o]
YEAHWELL... where you are they call this weather “normal.”
We’ve been in the mid/upper 10X’s these past four days, and looking at probably three more before the Big Pacific A/C Unit kicks on. Supposedly going to be 102 on Independence day, but only top out at 81 Friday.
It was over 100 degrees every single day in the month of June. A record.
Record cool?
LOL!
Some businesses here donate $100 to their favorite charity (Opportunity Village, St. Jude’s Ranch for Children, etc.) for every day over 100 degrees during the summers. That can add up to a lot of bucks!
And there are lots of “cooling stations” around the valley, as well.
Wellin AZ, that is $3,000 a pop for those companies for the month of June : )
Howdy you all!! It was 95 here yesterday.... blistering hot for us. I have been here 8 years and have not seen it that hot. We usually have a heat wave in August for a week or so.
I know 95 for those of you in the really hot places would be a relief!!
Would be almost as dangerous as getting between Chuckie Schumer and a TV camera. But then, I repeat myself...
It can be a large figure by Labor Day, and it seems every summer, there is another company that joins in. I LIKE it!
97 degrees in Auburn yesterday.
The birds that flew in to dine at my feeders spent an unusual amount of time cavorting in the waterfall of my backyard pond.
I almost got in there with them.
