I watched a few episodes of “Burn Notice” when a son found it on Netflix streaming, but I quickly lost interest. When I don’t like the lead character, a good supporting cast isn’t enough.

The comment about owls was a lame joke.
People put fake owls on display to keep pigeons and other birds away.
Around these parts, the city puts hawk screeching sounds on the large in-town billboard signs, to keep pigeons from roosting there and crapping on the cars and people below.
Fake owls are the thing here. We don’t have any, though. We just let birds eat our garden produce.
