Dunkin Donuts wants to sell you a doughnut sandwich.
Hitting stores Friday, the breakfast item is composed of a fried egg, bacon and two glazed doughnuts. It has 360 calories, according to the company website. Thats 60 more than an Egg McMuffin at McDonald's.
Coming on the heels of the news that McDonalds is offering egg whites as a substitution on any of its breakfast items, a glazed donut sandwich at Dunkin would appear to be running counter to a healthier-eating America.

Shoulda done this ages ago.
But what’s with the three tater tots—and serving it on a coaster?

It has 360 caloriesThat's fewer than I would have thought.
Still not planning to try it, though. Just doesn't sound good.

a glazed donut sandwich at Dunkin' would appear to be running counter to a healthier-eating AmericaCould that article's author, Emily Bryson York, possibly come up with a more vapid, foolish statement? (rhetorical question only - judging by that article, it would not surprise me to find that Emily Bryson York is full of, um, other such inanities.)
What is that "healthier-eating America" that you are imagining, babe? Guess that's what's expected of someone with a "journalism" degree from Northwestern University these days...

And to think I had a Denver Omelette, hash browns, and a stack of pancakes at Perkins this morning. They sure tasted good.

No thanks. Rice for breakfast here, with some pickled peppers, black pepper and little bits of scrambled egg and cheese.

The glazed doughnut sounds wrong. It seems like it would work better with a cake/old-fashion style. May I’ll whip one
up at home just to see!!
