I just spent alot of time posting!
I see that, looks like you hit a small bump.
Pictured: Small Bump
What happened?
Well, someone set up us the bomb?
I'm serious!
Oh, well.. looks like your post got pulled.
Augh! I spent alot of effort on that! How did it happen?!
Couldn't be because you were doing it wrong?
What the, how'd you get that video of m-- uh.. I don't even wear that!
Right Skippy. *cough* Well, since you asked, here's how posts get removed.
First, if it is against TOS it gets seen.
Then it gets marked.
Okay, I have that much.
Then the mods gather:
Pictured, mods gathering.
I don't think that's how it looks, I..
Look, do you want an answer or not?
...Yes?
Right, carrying on.
Then they back their vehicle up to your post.
Whoah! What the heck is that thing?!
It's a machine, that eats other machines.
With this:
I don't see what this has to do with my post vanishing, can you tell me wha-
Watch it question boy! I have a flamethrower!
You want to vanish like your dog did?
What the?! No, not Roozer too!
To be fair, your dog WAS drunk.
What?! Who would even... please don't point that flamethrower at me.
Right, and after they saw your post off the entire forum, they set it on fire.
Wait.. that man. His face, and fire! Oh GOD WHY?!
Oh, HIS post was all about his face, so the mods set it on fire.
After that, they used the ashes to open a gate between our world and theirs, like this:
BLECH! That's horrible!
And those tentacles! GAAAH!
If you think that's bad, you should see what happens when the mods get their hands on a bad thread.
Pictured: Mod hands
Oh look, here comes a mod now.
Looks like they want to ask you about that thread you just posted.
Gaaah! Tell them I'm indisposed!
Pictured: Moderator, dunno which one.
Tell them yourself, they're right behind you.
Wait, don't run away!
We haven't gotten to what happens when they edit your thread title!
This concludes our sordid fictional tale.
If you liked that, we have plenty more in the book "Oh the horrible things you'll summon!" rumored to be written by IamnotaMod
Good idea. That reminds me, I need to get the “card” out of my camera and see what’s on it.
You should never visit relatives while you're harboring something infectious.
My left shoulder is aching a little today, so I think I will put it in the sling for a while. That seems to help quite a bit.
I also got the travel voucher from Delta Airlines today. It’s only for $100, but I’m sure I can fly SOMEplace for that! Maybe back up to SLC to visit, or maybe to Phoenix to visit my brother. Or maybe to Colorado Springs to visit my other brother! LOL!
Saw “Gatsby” today.
Forget about it. A story of The Jazz Age with a rap background.
.
I couldn’t get interested in the book, and couldn’t watch the first movie of “Gatsby,” so I’m not about to waste my money on a remake.
Thanks for the head’s up, though!
91 outside. The barometer is dropping. The A/C has kicked on. There goes my electric bill...
LOL!
76 here - we had a bit of a rain and the temperature dropped about 5 degrees. Weather-guessers say 58 tonight, with a pretty good chance of more rain.
I just worked up the budget for June, since I was dealt such a rotten hand this month by the PTB. I HOPE I have sent all the required documents in time to get the Medicare premium reversed. Although, since the 10th was yesterday, there isn’t much chance of that.
I’ll just have to tighten the old belt...At least The Stig won’t go hungry!
The bright spot is a reimbursement. The mistake was at the local office...they did NOT send me an application for recert, and also claimed I had called, which I never do. I mail things and make copies and date the copies with the day they go into the mail.
Zero-care lives.
IF it makes you feel any better, a lot more people will be in your position in the next generation.
Buy yourself some Restorative (OldTax-lady got us a box, although we’re both trying to cut back, really ;-), and all the CD/DVD holders you need.
If y’all were here, I could feed TheStig assorted lettuces out of our garden. Kathleen won’t eat them, but Dragonbaby will munch up all kinds. Arugula is still her favorite, though.
That’s about what the reviews related. So sad.
LOL!
I worry about the Next Generation...My son and daughter are already feeling the fear of uncertainty.
Tomorrow, I just might go to Wally World and get that Restorative and a couple of CD/DVD storage cases! And maybe something pretty to wear. Or get another haircut (can you send Jamie by DarkFAX?) and maybe even get my nails redone. I had forgotten how good it felt to be feminine and indulge side of me that likes to be pampered. ;o]
Thanks again for such a great visit!
Lablady and her hubby are renewing their vows on the 25th. She has the most atrocious taste in formal clothing! GAH! But it’s her day, and I won’t spoil it with any criticism of any kind.
I try to keep lettuce on hand for TheStig. He really likes romaine and arugula, but will settle for iceberg. He even likes bok choy!
He is molting again, and is off his feed and pouty, and I try to entice him with apple slices or a piece of pineapple, but he will have none of it.
Poor little guy. He just gets SO sick with the molt. I give him supplements and vitamins to help stave off some of the worst of it, but he seems to be one of those birds that becomes ill when the feathers begin to shed. I would hold him and rock him if I could!
Santana is like that when he’s shedding his skin.
*snorkle chortle*
I think we’re all like that when we go through major changes. Shedding, in any form is painful, I’m sure. As for me, I wish I could actually DO something that was helpful for them. :o([
Hockeybughow just posted an awesome comment on facebook...I wonder if he knows something I don’t? He’s suddenly a SON! LOL!
Take the good when it hits you!
Mom has gone back to her motel for the night, and she’ll leave for the airport in the morning. All the socialization she could take ;-). I could have used another day, but I’ll go see them in Florida later in the year.
I will NOT complain! For too many years, I have been “out of sight and out of mind,” and I think it has been from “denial:” My mom will live forever, so I don’t have to pay attention to what goes on in her life.
If he is finally becoming aware of me, it’s most likely because he is becoming aware of his own fallibility. It doesn’t matter: He is making the efforts, and that “all counts on 20!”
I hope Mom had a good visit. How is Dad? Is he adjusting to his new living conditions? It’s good that Mom doesn’t have to worry about him so much when she is elsewhere. :o])
