I just spent alot of time posting!
I see that, looks like you hit a small bump.
Pictured: Small Bump
What happened?
Well, someone set up us the bomb?
I'm serious!
Oh, well.. looks like your post got pulled.
Augh! I spent alot of effort on that! How did it happen?!
Couldn't be because you were doing it wrong?
What the, how'd you get that video of m-- uh.. I don't even wear that!
Right Skippy. *cough* Well, since you asked, here's how posts get removed.
First, if it is against TOS it gets seen.
Then it gets marked.
Okay, I have that much.
Then the mods gather:
Pictured, mods gathering.
I don't think that's how it looks, I..
Look, do you want an answer or not?
...Yes?
Right, carrying on.
Then they back their vehicle up to your post.
Whoah! What the heck is that thing?!
It's a machine, that eats other machines.
With this:
I don't see what this has to do with my post vanishing, can you tell me wha-
Watch it question boy! I have a flamethrower!
You want to vanish like your dog did?
What the?! No, not Roozer too!
To be fair, your dog WAS drunk.
What?! Who would even... please don't point that flamethrower at me.
Right, and after they saw your post off the entire forum, they set it on fire.
Wait.. that man. His face, and fire! Oh GOD WHY?!
Oh, HIS post was all about his face, so the mods set it on fire.
After that, they used the ashes to open a gate between our world and theirs, like this:
BLECH! That's horrible!
And those tentacles! GAAAH!
If you think that's bad, you should see what happens when the mods get their hands on a bad thread.
Pictured: Mod hands
Oh look, here comes a mod now.
Looks like they want to ask you about that thread you just posted.
Gaaah! Tell them I'm indisposed!
Pictured: Moderator, dunno which one.
Tell them yourself, they're right behind you.
Wait, don't run away!
We haven't gotten to what happens when they edit your thread title!
This concludes our sordid fictional tale.
If you liked that, we have plenty more in the book "Oh the horrible things you'll summon!" rumored to be written by IamnotaMod
They haven’t seen the last of me. I loathe and detest stupidity, and it would seem the Peter Principle is hard at work in the Las Vegas Valley.
I may even be so bold as to write a Letter to the Editor. (I’m not shy!)
Update on GG-daughter: My daughter says SHE hasn’t even seen the baby because the baby mama has her mama there, and the #1 Mama doesn’t like my daughter. I told Lablady that NO ONE has the right to treat my daughter like a red-headed step-child, and if she wants to see the baby, I will meet her there, and we can go in together. I doubt the #1 Mama will want to do battle with the #GG-Ma...
I mean, look how big I am...Kinda like Tom, in drag...;o])
Can you do that again?
;-)
You’re much tidier than Tom, and not as bulky, but more intimidating! I would support the two of you (politely) crashing the scene ;-).
I just have to talk Lablady into it. I think she thinks I will go in with guns blazing, but that isn’t how it’s going to work.
With 20+ years of customer service behind me, I can find (if the word gods are with me) the right things to say in the right tone of voice, to get the point across.
No one has exclusive rights to that baby except Mom and Dad, and I will take Dad aside and tell him so. He needs to grow a pair.
His Pseudo-MiL is running the show for now, and that is WRONG on so many levels. If they were married, I think a lot of things would be different. But I called and left a message to him this AM, and asked what I had to do to get an appointment to see my GG-baby. Sad, that is...
Don’t tell Tom, but in my eyes, he’s a pushover. Smart, yes; clever, yes; educated, yes; mature, no. But that is to be expected. He has all these brains in this big body, and he is dealing with adolescent hormones, and he is not really sure where he fits in, except in scholastics. I get it.
As he ages, and his hormones ebb a little, he will make you VERY proud.
I don’t know how he accepted me this trip, but I gave him praise and admonishments, hopefully, appropriately. He is SO out of his elephant! Given time, he will be as awesome as he thinks he is.
Ah has SPOKE! (Mammy Yokum)

Tom is used to being smacked down when he gets out of hand. My ultimate tactic is “No more meals unless ...”.
Is that a possibility?
I hope so. The “reasons” I got for them not being married at this time are, that he was too new on his job to get maternity insurance on an already pregnant woman, and she was covered by insurance from her mother’s job.
I don’t approve, but I also see the logic, and can’t throw rocks at someone because I don’t know what I would do in similar circumstances.
For now, I will try to encourage a marriage.
In other news: Lablady and hubby are back together and are going to renew their vows next month. She has asked me to be there for the event. This is a milestone of enormous proportions. The last “event” I attended was her marriage to The Baby Daddy’s Dad. She was 19. Or maybe 20. Everything else has included me out.
So I’m optimistic that the son will make it all legal. ;o]
Got the Neon appraised. The dealership told me 300 bucks so I guess I will be selling it myself. The Blue Book value is closer to $2500.
Also I looked at a 2003 Subaru Baha. It’s a pretty nice little truck thing. I may get it.
I’ve decided since everyone in the government is threatening to take away half my benefits and cut my pay that another used car is probably a better idea than a new one.
Also I really like the Subaru and Subarus are basically indestructible. The Neon is nearing the end of its service life and needs to belong to an old lady who drives to the grocery store on Tuesdays.
*sheesh*
The dealer underestimated you by about 500 miles. He needs to know that dynamite comes in small packages.
One thing about being in the military: There is never a shortage of car buyers. Stick to your guns.
;o]
Tuesdays are bad days for little old ladies...the sales come on Wednesdays!
Sadly, Japanese-made vehicles are very reliable. Too bad “Made In The USA,” doesn’t mean quality when it comes to cars. I’m sure you have done your homework on this, so go after what you want. And don’t take any guff from anyone.
:o])
It has leather seats and a sunroof.
The only thing that bothered me too much about the Subaru was a small noise when accelerating but I know a good mechanic who would probably take it apart and fix the problem and then spend 2 hours explaining it to me.
I’ve always wanted a Baha though and this is a pretty nice one.
I'll go along with this, with one caveat; some American cars, under certain circumstances, can be dirt-cheap to repair and maintain, if you have the right assortment of mechanics. Parts are plentiful, and repairs are familiar. This works on a certain vintage of cars and only some models. The trick is to choose something that is as plain as a sugar cookie.
Maybe the modern teen would never consider driving something so pedestrian and ordinary that a dozen can be seen in any parking lot, but that's the secret to cheap transportation, at least for American cars.
!!!!
*Horrified scream*
If you want it bad enough, you will research it and use your experience with cars to make the final deal. Salesmen think every single female is a lemon waiting to be taken off the lot.
I know this because I went through it all from the beginning: I couldn’t rent a house or apartment, buy a car, or get credit because I was a divorced/single woman. There are laws now, so don’t be afraid to call up the “Discrimination gods” as often as you need to! LOL!
Then you can cite your military service, if they give you any flak.
(I will use what laws I need to in order to accomplish the End Result!)
Thus the Dodge Neon. Which, honestly, my mechanic might even buy. He’s the kind of person who collects used cars.
I am toast, therefor I require butter?

This is the one.
It’s incredibly practical, honestly.
