What Happened When The Mods Pulled My Post?
About a quart of Gin ^ | April 9 2013 | A Demented Mind

I just spent alot of time posting!

I see that, looks like you hit a small bump.

Pictured: Small Bump

What happened?
Well, someone set up us the bomb?
I'm serious!
Oh, well.. looks like your post got pulled.

Augh! I spent alot of effort on that! How did it happen?!
Couldn't be because you were doing it wrong?
Image and video hosting by TinyPic

What the, how'd you get that video of m-- uh.. I don't even wear that!
Right Skippy. *cough* Well, since you asked, here's how posts get removed.
First, if it is against TOS it gets seen.

Then it gets marked.

Okay, I have that much.
Then the mods gather:

Pictured, mods gathering.

I don't think that's how it looks, I..
Look, do you want an answer or not?
...Yes?
Right, carrying on.
Then they back their vehicle up to your post.

Whoah! What the heck is that thing?!
It's a machine, that eats other machines.
With this:

I don't see what this has to do with my post vanishing, can you tell me wha-
Watch it question boy! I have a flamethrower!

You want to vanish like your dog did?

What the?! No, not Roozer too!
To be fair, your dog WAS drunk.
What?! Who would even... please don't point that flamethrower at me.
Right, and after they saw your post off the entire forum, they set it on fire.

Wait.. that man. His face, and fire! Oh GOD WHY?!
Oh, HIS post was all about his face, so the mods set it on fire.
After that, they used the ashes to open a gate between our world and theirs, like this:

BLECH! That's horrible!
And those tentacles! GAAAH!

If you think that's bad, you should see what happens when the mods get their hands on a bad thread.

Pictured: Mod hands

Oh look, here comes a mod now.
Looks like they want to ask you about that thread you just posted.

Gaaah! Tell them I'm indisposed!

Pictured: Moderator, dunno which one.

Tell them yourself, they're right behind you.

Wait, don't run away!
We haven't gotten to what happens when they edit your thread title!

This concludes our sordid fictional tale.
If you liked that, we have plenty more in the book "Oh the horrible things you'll summon!" rumored to be written by IamnotaMod

Chief Mouser NiMH would do that.

Welcome.

Cellphones acted wonky right after the bombing yesterday.
And we’re hours away from there.

My misfortune was a runaway mouse about 15 prior. Other than that misfortune everything was okay at this local.

Thanks, NnB. We have propane which can fuel all the necessary functions in the motor home. I just like to have options....

I had to look up Judi Dench. She reminds me of Face.

Propane ...

For a dedicated generator, you’d need a large supply, which would probably mean an additional tank. When I inquired about that, I was told that they were reluctant to commit such resources unless you were actually consuming in volume. Your arrangements might differ.

Do you have a generator for the motor home?

Having power for all your necessary functions is one purpose of having a generator. If you have prudently put by your foods in a manner not requiring constant power, you might have no cause for concern at all.

If, however, you find frozen food worth the trouble, that’s the investment you’re protecting, as well as anything that could be damaged in your house if it were without power for long.

Generators can be fueled by propane, natural gas, gasoline, diesel fuel, and I have heard that there are such things as kerosene-fueled generators. With a properly selected fuel source, all you would then need is automatic starting, and an automatic switch-over. That would cost a pretty penny.

Yes, I left already! I had three some-odd hours in DE-troit, then four hours plus of flying to Vegas.

Someone really needs to fix the potholes up there.

And wonder of wonders, it’s 54 degrees and sprinkling.

*shudder*

I came home to find His Stigness in fine feather, though his cage needs to be cleaned (DOH!) and he needs a little face time with The Face.

I will see y’all in the morning!

Thank you ,Joe.
Now we await the rise of our next PM.
Let's hope the wait is not to long, the 'queens' are doing a lot of damage.
She is to be cremated this afternoon and laid next to Dennis in the Royal Chelsea Hospital grounds.

Sending a full plane from West Virginia to Cincinnati, and a full plane from Cincinnati to Orlando is better than sending a half-full plane from each airport to Orlando. They save a ton of money that way.

Until someone can send full smaller planes from each airport and everyone starts flying the alternative.

Eventually the regional jets will transform American air travel, but the airlines have to amortize all those 737s and A320s first.

I’d like to take a Tomahawk, but I had to give up flying due to migraines.

Lately the visual aura has been very mild. I’m hoping to be able to take it up again as a pre-retirement hobby.

Jets, or migraines?

Mr. Strangecat was on the window ledge when Tom, Elen and I got back from exercising. (Something on the order of running was involved.) I chased him off with the water sprayer. I don't want another cat!

Prop planes. I’ve only flown a jet a couple of times. It wasn’t nearly as much fun as a single-engine prop plane.

I don’t think the engine was the deal, I think it was the altitude. 5,000 feet is more fun than 12,000 feet.
