Weird Al is one of the most under-rated musicians. He is a genius who isn’t taken seriously because he is a comic.

They were very popular when Moving Pictures came out, that was when even girls were listening to them. ;)

Weird Al - One of the best live shows I’ve ever seen.

Amazing how Frampton was the huge thing for a year or so after FCA came out in 76, and then....nothing...darn shame because the guy is still an incredible player. I’d love to catch a show of his if he ever comes back around.

"Whoever said Led Zeppelin should be shot."

That was me, but instead of shooting me, why don't you just get your fellow Zep fan to order up a drone strike?

And he treated Rick Wright like crap.

Agreed... Though after he effectively kicked Rick out of the band shortly before "The Wall" tour and Bob Ezrin helped convince him to allow Rick back into the band as an "employee," and as a result, he was the only one of the 4 who actually made money on the tour.

Thank god Rick had one last chance to tour with Gilmour before he passed.

Actually, he appeared on "On an Island" and I believe he was able to do a couple of tours with David. But you're absolutely right. When Rick would come to his vocal parts on "Comfortably Numb" you could hear the love from the audiences. He was an integral part of Pink Floyd, and Waters thought it was all about him.

No, but before Led Zeppelin there were the Yardbirds. From the movie Blowup. Featuring Jeff Back and Jimmy Page:

Should have said Marriott since Page said he was the benchmark for a singer. Marriott was with Small Faces in the 60s.

Thin Lizzy.

Phil Lynott, the lead singer, had a rather pathetic life. His mother was ... let’s just say she had low morals ... and had three children by three different men. Two were given up for adoption. Phil was raised by his grandmother if I recall correctly. The mother now makes money talking up her dead son, the one she never raised. Disgusting.

What did one Deadhead say to the other after the drugs wore off?

Man, this band sucks.

Why do Deadheads wave their hands in front of their faces at Dead concerts?

To keep the music out of their eyes.

My point is you can't even hum their songs in the shower - if you can't do that, how do you call it "music"?

What, can't you handle humming "Money" in 7/8 time? Or "Echos?"

Phil Lynott was great, he did a solo album that featured Mark Knopfler on guitar. Sad he couldn’t beat his demons.
